Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply assemble and disassemble a top plate, a side plate and a connecting metallic fixture at any time by allowing one end side and the other end side of a connecting plate to penetrate into a slit of one desk and a slit of the other desk, respectively, and attaching both end penetration parts of its connecting plate to the top plate of the corresponding desk by using a connecting bolt from the lower face side, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Each side end face 4b of a desk A is allowed to adhere closely to each other and made adjacent to the left and the right, and a connecting plate 8 having a bolt insert-through hole 8a expanded to the lower part in both ends is allowed to penetrate into both slits 7. In such a state, a bolt 9 inserted through from a through-hole 27 of a connecting metallic fixture 2 is allowed to pass through the bolt insert-through hole 8a of its connecting plate 8, and tightened and attached to a rasp-out nut 46 provided on a top plate 4 of the corresponding desk A, by which each top plate 4 is connected. According to such a connecting structure, when each top plate 4 is separated by detaching the connecting bolt 9 from the lower face 4a of both the top plates 4, and drawing out the connecting plate 8 from both slits 6, each desk A can be used singly, respectively.

[Prior Art] In offices and the like, it is not uncommon for desks, which are normally used alone for individual work, to be grouped together or placed adjacent to each other in the necessary number for use as desks for reception. Conversely, multiple desks that are used adjacent to each other may be separated and used again as individual desks. For this reason, in recent years, various efforts have been made to keep desks adjacent to each other and to connect them detachably. One of these is a connection structure in which top plates or side plates are connected relatively simply via fasteners, as is often seen in wooden desks that are difficult to process. .

Fig. 13 relates to a connection structure that connects top plates to each other. The top plate of desk a has a recess d that opens toward the lower surface C near the side edge, and this recess d and the top A bolt insertion hole f is bored horizontally between the side end surface e of the board. When the side end surfaces e of adjacent top plates are brought into close contact with each other, bolts g are inserted into both bolt insertion holes f, and nuts h are screwed into each of the through ends of the bolts in the recesses d. , the top plates can be connected to each other.

Then, with the side end surfaces m of adjacent top plates ρ in close contact with each other, the bolt n inserted through the bolt insertion hole k of one desk i is passed through the bolt insertion hole of the other desk i, and this state is maintained. By screwing the nut o into the through end of the bolt n, the side plates j can be connected to each other. The bolt p and nut q shown in FIG. 15 are designed so that they can be screwed into each other within the bolt insertion hole to improve the appearance.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in desk a that adopts the connection structure shown in FIG. The bolt insertion hole f is exposed on the side end surface e of the frame, resulting in an unsightly appearance. Also, in the case of the desk i that adopts the connection structure shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, when the desk i is used alone after removing the pole nSp, the bolt insertion hole k is inserted into the side plate j as shown in FIG. 17.

These inconveniences can be alleviated to some extent by covering the bolt insertion holes f and k with resin caps, etc., but offices these days are rapidly becoming more intelligent, and all types of furniture are becoming more functional. With the increasing demand for highly sophisticated designs, there is no way that discerning users will be willing to accept such inconveniences. In addition, small parts such as resin caps tend to be poorly managed during periods when they are not used, and if the period is long, they are often lost and unusable when you want to use them again.

On the other hand, for wooden desks, etc., where such complicated processing is difficult, it is not easy to provide a top plate and side plates that can be assembled and disassembled, and conventionally, the top plate and side plates were coated with adhesive. Usually, they are simply connected using dowels or the like. For this reason, most of the desks are completed at the factory stage, and there is a problem in that subsequent handling related to loading/unloading and inventory management is extremely inconvenient.

That is, in the desk connection structure according to the present invention, the top plates of adjacent desks are connected to each other via the connection plate. For this purpose, the six desks are fixed to the left and right side plates, a connecting fitting whose outer edge half is in contact with the upper end surface of the side plate, and a connecting fitting whose outer edge half is attached to the side plate from the upper surface side. A first fixing bolt to be attached to the top plate, a top plate whose side edge is attached to the upper end surface of the side plate via the connecting fitting, and a half half of the inner edge side of the connecting fitting attached to the top plate from the bottom side. a second fastening bolt fastened to the top plate, and a joint having the outer edge of the connecting fitting as the joint bottom is formed between the side end surface of the top plate and the outer surface of the side plate; By cutting out a portion of the connecting fitting within this joint, a slit that communicates with the inner surface of the side plate is formed.

In order to prevent the appearance of the top plate from increasing in thickness and becoming unsightly due to the interposition of connecting metal fittings between the top plate and the side plates, a step is formed on the bottom surface of the top plate so that it can be removed from the outside. It is effective to make the visible side edge portions thinner than the middle portion. In this case, there is a possibility that the connecting plate cannot be inserted, so a concave portion that is continuous with the lower surface of the side edge is formed at a portion of the lower surface of the intermediate portion corresponding to the slit, and the connecting plate is inserted into this concave portion. It must be guided so that it will stick to the large board. Moreover, as a result of this, it is no longer possible to simply use a flat plate-shaped connection fitting, but in that case, the connection fitting has a horizontal outer half half and a horizontal inner half half. It shall be continuous by the vertical plate part,
It is preferable that the slit is formed by partially cutting out a half portion of the outer edge side. Furthermore, in order to connect the desks that have been assembled together, a through hole is provided in the inner edge half at a portion corresponding to the recessed portion to allow insertion of a connecting bolt. It is better.

[Function] With such a connection structure, by removing the connection bolt from the bottom of the rain top plate, pulling out the connection plate from the slit, and separating the top plates, it becomes possible to use them as independent desks. However, in this state, joints are exposed on the sides of each desk, and slits are opened at the bottom of the joints, but the joints themselves are essentially useful for improving the aesthetic appearance of the desk. Because the slit is located at the bottom of the joint, it is difficult for the slit to enter the human field of vision, and even if it does enter the field of view, it is at the same position as the joint, so it does not feel too strange. Therefore, compared to conventional connection structures in which bolt insertion holes are opened in locations that should be flush with each other, unsightliness can be significantly reduced. In addition, with such a device, there is no need to use resin caps or the like when six desks are used alone, so there is no need for troublesome management of small parts.

In addition, if the top plate and side plate are connected using such a connecting fitting, the outer edge half and the first fastening bolt will be completely covered by the side edge of the top plate and will not be exposed to the outside when the assembly is completed. Although the inner edge half and the second fixing bolt are exposed under the top plate, they are no longer visible to humans unless they look very far under the top plate. For this reason, it becomes possible to simply connect the top plate and the side plates without making them look unsightly, without having to perform complicated processing on them. Moreover, by loosening the second fastening bolt, the top plate can be removed from the connecting fitting, and from this state, by further loosening the first fastening bolt, the connecting fitting can be removed from the side plate. A desk that adopts a connecting structure allows the top plate, side plates, and connecting fittings to be easily assembled and disassembled at any time.

In this state, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the joint 6 is exposed on the side of the desk A, and the slit 7 is opened at the bottom 2a of the joint, but the joint 6 itself is Since slit 7 is located at the bottom of the joint, it is difficult to see the human field of view, and even if it is in the field of view, it is useful for improving the aesthetic appearance of desk A. Since they are in the same position, you won't feel any discomfort. Therefore, compared to conventional connection structures in which bolt insertion holes are unnaturally opened in locations that should be flush with each other, it is possible to significantly reduce unsightliness. In addition, with such a device, when the six desks A are used alone, there is no need to cover the slit 7 with a resin cap or the like, so there is no need for troublesome management of small parts.

Furthermore, if the connecting fitting 2 that connects the top plate 4 and the side plate 1 is of this type, the outer edge half half 21 and the first fastening bolt 3 will be completely covered by the top plate 4 in the assembled state. Therefore, it is no longer exposed to the outside, and the inner edge side half 22 and the second
Although the fixing bolts 5 are exposed on the lower surface 4a of the top plate 4,
If you don't look very closely into that part, it won't come into the human field of vision. For this reason, it is possible to simply connect the top plate 4 and the side plates 1 without making them look unsightly without performing any additional processing on them. Furthermore, by loosening the second fastening bolt 5, the top plate 4 can be removed from the connecting fitting 2, and from this state, by further loosening the first fastening bolt 3, the connecting fitting 2 can be removed from the side plate 1. Therefore, in this desk A, the top plate 4, side plate 1, and connection fittings 2 can be easily assembled and disassembled at any time. This makes it possible to effectively eliminate handling problems related to loading/unloading and inventory management that conventional wooden desks have had.
