点火炉のシール装置に関するものである。

(従来の技術) 第2図に示すトラツクガイドパレツト式焼結機
は、原料供給ホツパーaからパレツトコンベアb

バーナーcが設けられている点火炉dの下方を通
過する間に着火され、パレツトコンベアbの下方
に開口しているウインドボツクスeを介してメイ
ンダクトfにより吸引される空気により、上層部
から下層部に向つて焼結が行われる。上記点火炉
d内における燃料原単位を低減させるためには、
点火炉d内の圧力は−0.5〜−1.0mmH2O程度の負
圧にした方が良いとされているが、点火炉dの炉
内圧力が負になると、第3図に示すように、点火
炉dと上段サイドウオールg′との間に於てパレツ
トの蛇行に備えて多少の空間tが設けてあるた
め、その空間tから大気が炉内に進入し、パレツ
ト両端部の表面の添加ヨークスへの火付が悪るく
なり、そのため炉内温度保持のために燃料原単位
が増加してしまう不都合が生じる。にも拘らず上
記大気の炉内進入を防止する手段を施していない
焼結機が案外と多いが、大気進入防止が出来るよ
うにしたものも2,3ある。

突出している突出部4に、先端に設けた可撓性部
分5、即ち弾性彎曲部5を摺接させたシール板6
を固定したものである。
