Abstract

PURPOSE:To form reliably a desired part of a mudguard into a rigid part or a flexible part, by a method wherein after injection of rigid resin into a mold provided with a cavity for a rigid part, a cavity having a desired cavity form is formed by exchanging at least a part of the mold and then flexible resin is injected into the cavity. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacture of a mudguard 12 constituted of a rigid part 10 made of rigid resin and a flexible part 16 made of flexible resin, the rigid resin 6 is injected within a mold 2 provided with a cavity 1 for the rigid part. Then the first mold 3 of the mold 2 is exchanged with the separate first mold 7 and a cavity 9 having a desired product form is formed. Then the flexible resin 11 is injected into the cavity 9 and the desired mudguard 12 is obtained.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Generally, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, a mudguard 20 includes an upper half portion 24 for attaching to a body 23, which is composed of a body attachment portion 21 and a body abutment portion 22, and a body 23 that is attached to the body 23 by a flying stone or the like. It is formed into a desired shape by injection molding a resin material. Metal inserts (not shown) were embedded in the body attachment ff121 and the body contact portion 22 in order to improve their strength. However, this type of mudguard 20 has had various problems, such as occurrence of rust on the metal insert and increased weight due to the metal insert. Therefore, lightweight mudguards and their manufacturing methods have been devised that do not use metal inserts, but instead form parts that require strength with hard resin and other parts that do not require strength with soft resin (for example, Unexamined patent application
(Refer to Publication No.-233178).

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In this conventional example, as shown in FIG. 9 to FIG. The mudguard 20 is manufactured by injecting the soft resin 29 through the injection port 28 and then injecting the hard resin 30 from the injection port 28 after or while the injection of the soft resin 29 is completed. However, the flow of the soft resin 29 and the hard resin 30 fluctuates as the injection conditions change.
In some cases, the soft resin 29 or the hard resin 30 cannot flow into a desired part of the container, resulting in variations in product quality.

そこで、本発明は、このような不具合を解消し得るマッ
