BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, in order to wind up yarn unwound from a previous process using a winding machine, a paper tube is attached to the winding machine, and the yarn is wound around the paper tube using the paper tube as a winding core. In addition, some yarns are wound up by a predetermined amount without using a paper tube as a winding core, and a paper tube is inserted as a core to prevent the yarn from getting tangled after winding.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, when yarn is wound using a paper tube as a winding core, the paper tube is compressed and permanently deformed because a large number of yarns are packed and transported in a stacked state. Therefore, there was a problem that the appearance of the product deteriorated.

Means for Solving the Problems The winding core according to this invention is a core that is attached to a winding machine and winds the yarn, and the winding core is formed of a sponge made of plastic material into a cylindrical body, The cylindrical body is characterized in that at least three or more cuts are formed through the cylindrical body, extending radially from the axis of the cylindrical body in a radial direction at approximately equal angles and having approximately equal lengths.

Furthermore, since the winding core is made of a sponge made of plastic material, even after an external force is applied, it immediately returns to its original state when the external force is removed, and therefore the wound yarn will not be deformed even when stacked.

In the figure, 10 is a winding core made of a cylindrical sponge made of plastic material such as styrofoam or urethane foam, and 20 is a winding core 1.
This is the cut made at 0. The cut 20 is OP, oriented in the radial direction of the cylinder from the axis 0, 0' of the cylinder.
A plurality of (six in the illustrated example) extending OQ, OR, etc. are formed radially at approximately equal angles. Here, OP, OQ, OR... are approximately the same length,
It is cut over the entire length l of the winding core 10. Although the number of cuts 20 is six in the illustrated example, it is not limited to this, and the number of cuts 20 is at least three, and adjacent cuts 2
Any configuration may be used as long as the angles α formed by 0 are approximately equal.

The winding core 10 has a total length l of the winding core 10.
A sponge plate made of plastic material having a thickness equal to 1 can be easily punched out using a chisel 30. 2 and 3 are explanatory diagrams showing the schematic structure of the chisel used in this embodiment, FIG. 2 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along the line AA' in FIG. 2.

The chisel 30 includes a frame 33 integrally formed with a cylindrical blade 31 that cuts out the outer diameter of the winding core 10 and a radial blade 32 that cuts the cut 20 in the center.
3 is provided with a connecting portion 34 for connecting to a press or the like, and the winding core 10 is manufactured by punching out the sponge from this chisel 30 as described above.

The cut 20 of the winding core 10 is attached to the shaft (not shown) of a winding machine. In this case, since the winding core 10 of the present invention is made of sponge made of plastic material, it can be easily attached to the shaft of the winding machine by simply inserting it along the cut 20. It will be installed. That is, by the above-mentioned insertion, the winder is pressed against the shaft of the winder evenly by the balanced restoring force generated by the plurality of protrusions 21, 21 formed by the adjacent cuts 20, respectively.

Thereafter, the yarn W is wound onto the surface 11 of the winding core 10. As shown in FIG. 1 as an example of winding, the woolen yarn W is sequentially wound by so-called bias winding. During this winding, there is no risk of slipping, unlike in the case of paper tubes. Further, since the woolen yarn W is closely attached to the winding core 10, the yarn W is wound up one after another, and the wound yarn W does not move on the surface 11 and come off the winding core 10 and get caught elsewhere.

Then, the yarn W wound up by a predetermined amount by a measuring device (not shown) is removed from the winding machine together with the winding core 10. In this case, simply pulling out the woolen yarn W and the winding core 10 as one piece does not require much effort.

Further, for yarn that has been wound without using the winding core 10, it is sufficient to simply compress the winding core 10 and insert it into the hole of the yarn.

Effects of the invention As explained above, according to the invention, a sponge made of plastic is used as the winding core, and multiple cuts are formed radially from the core, so even if the products are stacked, they will not be placed at the bottom. The product will not be permanently deformed and will not look unsightly.

Further, the winding core of this invention can be easily attached to yarn wound without using a winding core.
