[2] Prior Art In recent years, winding machines for synthetic fibers, etc., have adopted a system in which a large number of yarns are simultaneously wound with one winding machine in order to improve efficiency. In this multi-spindle winder, if a yarn breakage occurs in one yarn during winding,
The winding of other threads that are being wound must also be stopped and the threading operation must be carried out immediately.

Conventionally, a yarn breakage detection device as shown in FIG. 1 has been used to detect yarn breakage in a multi-spindle winder. That is, a yarn breakage detection sensor 3 is disposed on each yarn 2 wound on each winding yarn package 1 of the multi-spindle winding machine to detect yarn breakage in the yarn 2. The sensor 3 is attached to one arm of a substantially U-shape so as to sandwich one thread 2 and emits light toward the thread 2, and the sensor 3 is mounted opposite to the light projector 5 on the other arm of the support 4. and a light receiver 6 which is attached at a position where the light emitter 5 converts the light from the light emitter 5 into an electrical signal. The yarn breakage detection sensor 3 detects the yarn 2 during winding.
Yarn breakage is detected by utilizing the fact that the light entering the light receiver 6 is interrupted by entering and exiting within the optical axis of the light projected from the light emitter 5 to the light receiver 6.
That is, when the incident light is interrupted, the light receiver 6 outputs the change in the interrupted light as a change in current, that is, an electric signal, to yarn breakage determining means (not shown). The yarn breakage determining means determines that winding work is being performed normally when the current is changing;
When the current change disappears, it is determined that a yarn breakage has occurred.

When thread breakage occurs, even if only one thread is broken, thread 2
Even if it is, the winding of all the yarns 2 is stopped, and the yarn breakage detection sensors 3 provided on all the yarns 2 are moved to open the A in FIG. A plurality of yarns are automatically guided from the side into a traverse device in the direction of B in FIG. 1 by a yarn suction device to a predetermined traverse device (not shown).
After each yarn is set, a yarn breakage detection sensor 3 is installed on each yarn 2 again, and the winding operation is restarted.

However, in the yarn breakage detection device of such a conventional multi-spindle winder, one yarn breakage detection sensor was installed for each yarn, so every time a yarn breakage occurred, all the yarn breakages were detected. The yarn detection sensor had to be moved one by one from each yarn, which resulted in problems such as poor threading efficiency and poor winding efficiency. Furthermore, since it is necessary to prevent the yarn breakage detector from coming into contact with adjacent yarns when moving the yarn breakage detector, the means for moving the yarn breakage detector has become complicated.

[3] Purpose of the invention Therefore, the present invention provides two arms that extend in the traversing direction of the threads across all threads of a plurality of threads, and attaches a light receiver and a light emitter to these arms with the threads sandwiched between them. By arranging the yarn breakage detection sensors so as to face each other, it is not necessary to move the yarn breakage detection sensors before and after the threading operation, and the purpose is to improve the efficiency of the threading operation and ultimately of the winding operation.

In FIG. 2, reference numeral 11 denotes a yarn convergence guide made of synthetic fiber or the like, and a yarn 13 extends from the yarn convergence guide 11 to each of a plurality of wound yarn packages 12 of a multi-spindle winder. Two arms 14a, 1 extend in parallel in the traverse direction (traverse direction) of the yarn 13 so as to sandwich all the yarns 13.
4b and is formed into a U-shaped package, it can be installed so that the yarn 13 is sandwiched between its two arms 14a and 14b, and one arm 14a of the U-shaped package has the same number of yarns 13. Light projectors (for example, light emitting diodes) 15 are arranged, and each light projector 15 projects light toward the corresponding yarn 13.
In addition, on one arm 14b, the same number of light receivers (for example, photoconductive elements) 16 as the light projectors 15 are arranged so as to face the light projectors 15, and the light receivers 16 detect the light projectors 15 that have passed through the thread 13. It receives light from the sun and converts it into electrical signals. That is, when the yarn 13 is wound around the package 12, it makes a traversal movement and goes in and out of the optical axis from the emitter 15 to the receiver 16, and light is intermittently incident on the receiver 16. 16 converts the intermittent change in the incident light into a change in current, that is, an electric signal. The electrical signal from the light receiver 16 is input to the yarn breakage determining means 17 shown in FIG. 3, and the yarn breakage determining means 17 determines whether or not the yarn is broken. As shown in FIG. 3, the yarn breakage determination means 17 includes a signal processing circuit 18 that is connected to each light receiver 16 and outputs a positive voltage of a predetermined value when there is no change in the current of the input signal; It is composed of an OR circuit 20 composed of connected diodes 19,
The yarn breakage determination means 17 detects which one of the light receivers 16
If the current no longer shows any change, it is determined that the thread is broken and a positive voltage thread breakage signal is output.

However, if even one yarn breakage occurs among the plurality of yarns 13, the light receiver 16 of that yarn 13
3, the incident light is always incident without being blocked. Therefore, the light receiver 16 outputs a constant current signal, and the yarn breakage determining means 17 determines that the yarn is broken. Next, the yarn converging guide 11 starts the threading operation. In the conventional method, it is necessary to remove the light emitters 15 and receivers 16 from all the yarns 13 from the yarn guide, but in the present invention, it is necessary to remove the light emitters 15 and receivers 16 from all the yarn guides. 1
5 and a plurality of light receivers 16 are attached to two arms 14a and 14b extending in the traversing direction of the yarn 13, and are integrated into one U-shaped package, making it possible to cut the yarn for a multi-spindle winder. Therefore, the threading operation can be performed quickly and easily without removing the detection device, and the efficiency of the winding operation is improved.

[6] Effects According to the present invention, the number of light emitters and light receivers equal to the number of threads for detecting breakage of a plurality of threads are arranged in a U-shape that extends in the traverse direction of the threads with all the threads sandwiched therebetween. I arranged them so that they were facing each other on the two arms of the package, so
Threading work can be done quickly and easily when the thread is broken.
The efficiency of winding work can be improved. In addition, by arranging all the emitters and receivers on the two arms of the U-shaped package and placing them on the side of the winding yarn package where the traversing width is large, threading work space can be secured at all times. , yarn breakage detection accuracy can be improved.
