Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically remove foreign matter from a pipe by a method wherein a screen is provided in the pipe in such a manner as to allow at least a part of fluid in the pipe to enter the screen, pressures inside and outside the screen are detected and a driving means for opening and closing a shut-off valve is controlled in response to the difference in the pressures thus detected. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 3 is provided therein with a screen 5 in such a manner as to allow at lest a part of fluid in the pipe to enter the screen. A discharge pipe 9 and its shut-off valve 8 are provided to expel the fluid which has entered the screen 5 to the outside of the pipe and a driving means 10 is provided to open and close the shut-off valve 8. The inner pressure of the pipe inside the screen 5 or at its upstream part and outside the screen 5 or at its downstream part are detected by pressure detecting means 11 and 12. A control part 13 controls the action of the driving means 10 in response to the difference between the above-mentioned pressure. As a result, the foreign matter collected by the screen can be removed efficiently and automatically.

Conventional technology Conventionally, a screen was placed inside the pipe as a foreign matter removal device for collecting foreign matter contained in the fluid flowing inside the pipe and discharging it outside the pipe, and the fluid flowing into the screen was discharged outside the pipe. It is known that the screen is equipped with a discharge pipe and its shutoff valve, and the shutoff valve is opened when foreign matter is accumulated on the screen, thereby discharging the foreign matter collected on the screen together with the fluid out of the pipe. .

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with the above configuration, there is a problem in that a person must open and close the shutoff valve, and since the amount of foreign matter collected on the screen cannot be confirmed, unnecessarily large amounts of foreign matter are discharged. Unless fluid is discharged from the pipe to remove foreign matter, clogging of the screen cannot be prevented, and more fluid than necessary is released when discharging foreign matter, making it impossible to efficiently discharge the collected foreign matter. There was a problem.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the apparatus for removing foreign matter in a pipe according to the present invention is provided by arranging a screen in the pipe so that at least a part of the fluid in the pipe flows into the pipe, and by disposing a screen in the pipe so that at least a part of the fluid in the pipe flows into the pipe. In addition to providing a discharge pipe for discharging the water to the outside of the pipe and its shutoff valve, a means for opening and closing the shutoff valve is also provided, and the pressure difference between the inside of the screen or its upstream part and the outside of the screen or its downstream part is determined by detecting the pressure inside the pipe. Means for controlling the opening/closing drive means accordingly is provided.

According to the above structure, foreign matter contained in the fluid in the pipe is collected by the screen, and a pressure difference is generated between the inside and outside of the screen or between the upstream and downstream sides of the screen, depending on the amount of the collected foreign matter. When the amount of foreign matter collected increases and the differential pressure exceeds a predetermined value, it is detected by the control means, the shutoff valve is opened by the opening/closing drive means, and the foreign matter collected on the screen is discharged together with the fluid inside the screen. It is discharged from the tube to the outside. Furthermore, when the foreign matter is removed from the screen and the differential pressure drops below a predetermined value, the shutoff valve is closed. In this way, foreign objects are automatically removed from inside the tube.

Next, to explain the operation, the fluid flowing in the fluid pipe line 2 passes through the screen 5 by the Y-shaped strainer 1, and the foreign matter contained in the fluid is collected by the screen 5 and removed. The fluid flows downstream. On the other hand, when foreign matter is collected on the screen 5, the eyes become clogged, and a difference in fluid pressure is generated between the upstream and downstream parts of the screen 5 depending on the amount of foreign matter. This differential pressure is detected by pressure detection means 11 and 12 and input to the control section 13. When the amount of foreign matter increases and the detected differential pressure exceeds a predetermined value, the control unit 13 drives the drive motor 10 and opens the gate valve 8. As a result, a part of the fluid that has flowed into the screen 5 is discharged from the discharge pipe 9 to the outside of the fluid conduit 2 through the gate valve 8 together with the foreign matter collected by the screen 5, and the screen 5 is cleaned. Further, when the foreign matter is removed from the screen 5 and the differential pressure falls below a predetermined value, the drive motor 10 is driven in the opposite direction by a command from the control section 13, and the gate valve 8 is closed.

Note that, when the differential pressure between the upstream and downstream portions of the screen 5 reaches 0.1 to 2.0 kgf/aJ, the control unit 13 drives the drive motor 10 to open the gate valve 8, so that the differential pressure becomes 0. .1k
When the value falls below gf/aJ, the drive motor 10 is reversely driven to close the gate valve IO. This is because if the differential pressure for opening and closing operations is set to less than 0.1 kgf/aJ, there is a risk of malfunction, and if it is set to more than 2.0 kgf/cJ, too much foreign matter will accumulate on the screen 5, which is inconvenient.

In this embodiment as well, when foreign matter accumulates in the screen 23 as in the above embodiment, a pressure difference is generated between the outside and the outside of the screen 23, and as a result, the fire hydrant 25 is automatically opened by the control unit 29, and the fire hydrant 25 is opened inside the screen 23. When the inflowing fluid flows out to the outside through the discharge pipe 24 and the fire hydrant 25, foreign matter is discharged along with it. Moreover, when the foreign matter is discharged and the differential pressure decreases, the fire hydrant 25 is automatically closed.

Effects of the Invention According to the in-pipe foreign matter removal device of the present invention, when foreign matter is collected by the screen and the differential pressure between the inside and outside of the screen, or between the upstream and downstream sides thereof, exceeds a predetermined value, this is detected by the control means. and the shutoff valve is opened by the opening/closing driving means.
The foreign matter collected on the screen is discharged from the discharge pipe along with the fluid, and when the foreign matter is removed from the screen and the differential pressure drops below a predetermined value, the shutoff valve is closed. The effect is that foreign matter can be efficiently removed from the pipe without wasting it.
