[Detailed description of the invention] <Industrial application field> The invention relates to a guide pin used in molds for die casting, etc., and more specifically, it is a guide pin that is installed in one of a movable mold and a fixed mold in a protruding manner to face the other. This invention relates to a mold matching guide pin that maintains the mold matching accuracy of both movable and fixed molds by being inserted into a guide bush coaxially installed and built into the other mold.

<Prior art and its problems> Although the guide pin of the similar type maintains the accuracy of mold matching between the movable type and the fixed type for each shot by fitting and fitting with the guide bush, it becomes difficult to maintain the accuracy of the mold matching for each shot. As a result, the side surfaces of the guide bushing become worn, and when the bushing is inserted into the guide bushing, a gap is created between the bushing and the bushing as the wear progresses. This creates a looseness, and the guide function maintains the accuracy of mold matching of both the fixed and movable molds. Therefore, it is necessary to replace it periodically depending on the degree of wear.

Conventionally, the timing of replacing the guide pin due to wear accuracy was determined based on experience and intuition based on the number of shots, or visual inspection of the cast product to visually confirm the presence or absence of mold misalignment of both movable and fixed molds. Since it was difficult to accurately determine when to replace the parts, there was a high rate of product defects due to misalignment of both the movable and fixed molds.

Incidentally, the wear of the guide pin gradually progresses from its tip end to the root of the insertion part that is inserted into the guide bushing, that is, to the attachment part that is inserted into the mold.

<Problem to be solved by the invention> The present invention was developed in view of the above conventional circumstances, and it is possible to directly check the degree of wear of the guide pin due to use by checking the presence or absence of grooves on the outer circumferential surface of the pin. The technical challenge is to be able to accurately determine when to replace the guide pin.

<Means for achieving the object> The technical means taken by the present invention to achieve the above object is to focus on the degree of wear of the guide pin, and to apply a mold to the outer peripheral surface of the pin body from the tip side. It is characterized in that an appropriate number of wear confirmation grooves are formed at desired intervals in the axial direction, the depth of which is gradually increased toward the attachment portion.

<Operation> According to the above-mentioned technical means of the present invention, each of the wear confirmation grooves, which are recessed at an appropriate number of desired intervals, can detect the shallowest wear on the tip side as wear progresses. It disappears from the groove. Therefore, the degree of wear can be directly confirmed by checking whether or not the wear confirmation grooves have different depths.

<Example> An example of the implementation of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. The pin body 1 is separated from the insertion part 1a that is inserted into the guide bush 2 and the mounting part 1b that is inserted into the mold A. An appropriate number of wear confirmation grooves 3a, 3b, etc., formed in a cylindrical shape and gradually increasing in depth from the distal end 1' side toward the attachment part 1b, are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion part 1a in the desired axial direction. Recessed at intervals.

Then, each wear confirmation groove 3 configured as above
If the shallowest confirmation groove 3a among a, 3b... disappears due to wear, for example, if the safety groove that indicates that the wear from the tip 1' has progressed, and the next shallowest confirmation groove 3b disappears, A caution groove for informing that it is almost time to replace the guide pin, and a shallow confirmation groove 3c are set in advance as a danger groove for informing that it is time to replace the guide pin when the shallow confirmation groove 3c disappears.

According to the guide pin of this embodiment, the degree of wear that progresses from the tip 1' side can be checked by using the wear confirmation grooves 3a, which have gradually changed depths from the tip 1' side.
3b... can be visually recognized at all times by disappearing as the wear progresses, and it is possible to accurately grasp the time (timing) to replace the guide pin.

In a guide pin where wear progresses from the tip side with use, as the wear progresses, the wear confirmation groove disappears in order from the shallowest one near the tip.
That is, the shallowest wear confirmation groove is eliminated first by the wear that progresses from the tip side, and the next shallowest wear confirmation groove is eliminated by the wear that progresses further. Therefore, the degree of wear on the guide pin can be constantly visually checked and directly confirmed by checking whether or not the wear confirmation grooves, which are provided at gradually varying depths from the tip end, disappear. timing) can be accurately grasped.

よつて、所期の目的を達成し得る。 Therefore, the intended purpose can be achieved.
