Abstract

PURPOSE:To present a portable thermal insulating bag with high thermal insulating effect, impact force resistance and water resistance, which is inexpensive and light-weighed, and of which throwaway is possible by a method wherein in an outer bag, an inner bag, which is formed of a sheet body formed in such a manner that between two sheets of flexible plastic films, a large number of air retaining pockets are mutually in contact with, is contained. CONSTITUTION:An inner bag 1 is a bag with a simple shape, of which one end is opened, and is formed of a sheet body 10 in which a large number of air retaining pockets 13 are formed by partially welding a third flexible plastic film 12 between two sheets of flexible plastic films 11, 11 of polyethylene, etc. An outer bag 2, the same as the inner bag, is a bag with a simple shape, of which one end is opened, and is formed by paper or plastic film, etc., however, it is desirable to give thermal insulating properties by metallizing aluminum thin film, etc., on the surface. The opening of the outer bag is closed by fasteners.

Recently, leisure activities at the sea and in the mountains have become more popular, and cooler boxes have become widely used to keep perishable food, canned juice, canned beer, fruit, etc. cold. This cooler box was originally used as a fishing gear, but it is made of a hard synthetic resin box with insulation material such as urethane or styrofoam sandwiched between the walls.
Although it has a great cooling effect, it weighs 2 to 5 kg and is expensive. Moreover, it is bulky and requires a large storage space when not in use.

For this reason, a simple insulating bag is known in which a thin aluminum film is vapor-deposited on the inner surface of a paper bag to impart heat insulation and waterproof properties to form an inner bag, and the inner bag is housed within an outer bag of the same paper bag. Such insulating bags are cheap, lightweight, and can be disposable, but they do not have sufficient insulation, which is important when storing 12 cans of beer and 2 kg of ice, for example.
When the canned beer is poured, the temperature of the canned beer rises to the ambient temperature within 6 hours. Furthermore, they are weak against impact, and there are other problems such as the contents such as beer cans being easily deformed or damaged by a small amount of impact force. In addition, the thin aluminum film easily peels off at the creases of the inner bag, and its water resistance when ice melts is insufficient.

A sheet called "air bag or air cap", which has a large number of air-holding bags formed on one side of a soft plastic film, has a large cushioning effect, and can be wrapped in packaging containers to protect items. However, in an "air bag", the air retaining bags are spaced apart from each other, so there is only one piece of soft plastic film between the air retaining bags. Even if the bag is molded, it cannot be expected to have much of an insulation effect. In contrast, the inner bag of the present invention has two
Since it is formed from a sheet body in which a large number of air-holding bags are in contact with each other between sheets of soft plastic film, it has extremely good heat insulation and impact resistance, and there is no problem with water resistance.

On the other hand, the outer bag is, for example, a paper bag, and a thin aluminum film may be deposited on the surface of the bag to improve heat insulation. The insulated bag is inexpensive and lightweight, and when not in use, it can be folded to reduce its bulk and be disposable.

In FIG. 1, the inner bag 1 is a simple bag-like object with one end open, and has a size of, for example, 150W x 22cm.
The size is 0 L x 250H. As shown in FIG. 2, this inner bag 1 has a film thickness of, for example, 40 μm.
A sheet body 10 is formed by partially welding a third soft plastic film 12 between two soft plastic films 11 and 11 made of polyethylene or the like to form a large number of air-holding bags 13. ing. In other words, this sheet body 10 is made by pasting another soft plastic film 11 on the air retaining bag 13 side of the above-mentioned "air bag", thereby forming a new air retaining bag 13 and retaining air. The bags 13 are in contact with each other. Therefore, the inner bag 1 is not only inexpensive and lightweight, but also has excellent heat insulation and impact resistance, and has no problem with water resistance when ice melts.

Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3, two third soft plastic films 12 are partially welded between two soft plastic films 11 and 11 to form a large number of air holding bags 1.
3 may also be used as the sheet body 10, which is made by laminating two "airbags" so that the air retaining bag 13 is in contact with the sheet body 10, and obtains the same effect as shown in FIG. I can do it.

Then, it is only necessary to store this in the outer bag 2 and close the opening, and since the inner bag 1 has excellent heat insulation properties, canned beer and the like can be kept cold for a long time. In addition, the inner bag 1 also has the cushioning properties that are the original purpose of an "air bag", so even if an impact force is applied, the object to be kept cool will not be deformed, and after use, it can be folded. It has a smaller bulk and can be disposable.
