The applicant has already filed a patent application for a batting material in which a plurality of fibers are formed into a loop shape, the ends of which are concentrated at one point, and the concentrated point is fixed, as a filling in place of natural feathers. No. 57-82860), and the applicant has also filed a patent application for padded cotton made of ball-shaped fibers. (Patent Application No. 56-164623) The former has loop-shaped fibers, so it has elastic heat retention properties comparable to natural feathers, but if a heavy load is applied, such as with bedding, the so-called It is undeniable that this will happen. In addition, since the fibers of the latter have a ball shape, they have a high repulsion force against external pressure and do not cause so-called sagging, but they do not have the bulk and elasticity of natural feathers. As such, the former has the most suitable structure for filling material in quilted clothing, and the latter has the most suitable structure for filling in bedding, but the former has the most suitable structure for filling in bedding that supports heavy loads. In some cases, the latter could not be said to have the optimal structure as a stuffing for quilted clothing related to natural feathers.

Conventional padded cotton has high bulk and elasticity, making it ideal for quilting clothing, but when used in bedding, it tends to sag, and conversely, it has high repulsion, making it ideal for bedding, but it is not always suitable for use in bedding. There was nothing that was said to be bulky, elastic, or repulsive enough to make it unsuitable for clothing. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a cotton insert that has bulkiness and elasticity similar to natural feathers, and is also capable of repelling strong external pressure.

1 is cotton padding, and the first cotton material 2 has a loop shape.
and a ball-shaped second cotton material 3. 1st
The cotton material 2 is made of polyester, nylon, polyacrylonitrile, etc. from 1.0d to 15d, especially 3.
Hollow fibers of ~6d, in this example, polyester with a high Young's modulus, are used. A plurality of these fibers are bent into a loop shape, the ends are concentrated at one point, and the concentrated point 4 is bonded with an adhesive or the like. It is fixed in one piece. The second cotton material 3 uses wool as the material,
This is formed into a ball shape using a known technique. When the loop-shaped first cotton material 2 and the ball-shaped second cotton material 3 formed in this way are mixed in approximately equal amounts so that they are adjacent to each other, the mutual fibers are They are intertwined and come together to form the padded cotton 1.

The padding cotton of the present invention is made by bending a plurality of fibers into a loop shape, concentrating the ends at one point, and forming a first cotton material in which each fiber is fixed together at the concentration point, and the fibers are formed into a ball shape. Since the formed second cotton material is mixed so that they are almost adjacent to each other and intertwined with each other, the first cotton material has elasticity with a soft touch and bulkiness. In addition, the second cotton material has a strong repulsive force that prevents it from sagging even when pressure is applied from any direction, so it is suitable for quilted clothing and bedding, which are required for heat retention. It is ideal as a filling material for all kinds of products.
