Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a buffer member from bending when it is turned and erected and to improve muffling effect without cutting the front edge part of a damper felt by disposing the buffer member in front of a hammer and turning backward by a muffler arm and interposing the buffer member between a chord and the hammer. CONSTITUTION:When an operation lever 23 is operated, the muffler arm 19 is turned backward by a wire 22 connected to the lever 23 and the buffer member 20 approaches to the chord (g). Simultaneously, a lifting guide 26 is pulled forward and moved by the other wire 28 connected to the lever 23, and a roller 25 on the bottom surface of the lifting rail 13 rides on a projecting line 26a on the lifting guide 26. Then, the lifting rail 13 is turned upward and separates the damper 16 from the chord (g), and the buffer member 20 is almost horizontally positioned on the bottom side of the chord (g) therebetween. Thus, without cutting the front edge part of the damper felt, the buffer member is prevented from bending when it is turned and erected. Thus, the muffling effect can be improved.

(Prior art) Recently, in grand pianos, a buffer member is interposed between the hammer and the strings in the same way as in applied pianos.
I try to play in a soft tone, but up until now,
The damping member is rolled up from a vertical position to a horizontal position in a narrow space between the hammer and the damper guide behind it (for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 60-24109
4), it may not be possible to install it depending on the model.
Since the length of the buffer member that can be interposed between the string and the hammer is not sufficient, and the expected dampening effect cannot be obtained, the applicant decided to install a buffer member in front of the hammer h as shown in Fig. 7. A muffler rail a is arranged in the width direction (perpendicular to the plane of the paper) and is supported rotatably in the front and back direction by muffler arms b pivoted on both sides of the piano body, and a plurality of thin A cushioning member C such as felt of a constant width is stretched in an arc shape through a support rod e, while a wire W fixed at a suitable position on a muffler arm b or muffler rail a is provided on the lower surface of a shelf G. A device was proposed in Japanese Patent Application No. 1-240867 which is connected to a lever 1, and when the lever 1 is operated, a buffer member C is rotated forward to be interposed between a string g and a hammer h.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) In the above device, since the buffer member C is placed in a relatively wide space in front of the hammer h, the width of the buffer member C in the front and back direction is increased to ensure that the string g and hammer The damper felt da, which is generally attached to the damper d on the string g, has the advantage of being able to be sufficiently interposed between the strings g and the damper felt. However, in the bass and middle range areas that require reliable sound-stopping action, as shown in Figure 8 A, for one string (bass part), the lower end of the felt da should be bifurcated and the string sandwich g, 2
For the main string (middle part), make the felt da into a V-shape as shown in the figure, and for the third string (middle part), make it into a W-shape as shown in the figure C. The tip of the damper felt da protrudes below the string g as shown in FIG.

For this reason, if you try to improve the weak tone effect by moving the buffer member C as close as possible to the string g when standing up, the tip of the buffer member C will hit the front end of the damper fell (daO) and bend when you stand up. Buffer member C at the string striking position
may cease to exist. In this case, it is conceivable to cut the front end of the damper felt daO diagonally, but this increases the number of work steps and reduces the contact area between the damper felt da and the string g, reducing the sound stopping effect.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention provides a grand piano in which a buffer member is provided in front of the hammer, and the buffer member is rotated backward by the muffler arm to be interposed between the strings and the hammer. As a muffler device with the above-mentioned configuration, the damper can be reliably separated from the strings as the muffler arm rotates, and the collision between the damper felt and the buffer member can be prevented without cutting the front end of the damper felt. The damping member can be interposed approximately horizontally with a sufficient length between the string and the hammer without fear of the tip being bent, and the damping effect can be improved.

Equipped with an action mechanism that has a hammer for hitting strings corresponding to the key, and a damper mechanism that has a damper for damping sound at the rear of the action mechanism, and a lifting rail that pushes up all the dampers as required on the back of the key. While it is arranged so that it can rotate,
A buffer member of a certain width is arranged in front of the hammer, and the buffer member is supported by a muffler arm that is pivotally supported on both sides of the piano body so as to be rotatable in the front and back direction, and the muffler arm is rotated rearward. In a grand piano muffler device in which the above-mentioned buffer member is interposed between the strings and the hammer, a roller is rotatably supported at a required location on the lower surface of the above-mentioned lifting rail, and the piano A guide board is provided on the shelf board of the main body, and the guide board has a protrusion on its upper surface that raises and lowers the roller, so that a lifting guide that supports the roller is slidable and biased rearward by a spring. A muffler device for a grand piano, characterized in that the wire latched to the lifting guide is connected to an operating lever on the lower surface of the shelf board to which the wire for operating the buffer member is attached.
