Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a light source unit from being stained and damaged while improving its safety by arranging the light source unit, which projects illuminating light from a meshing part between a footboard and a comb plate, in the reverse side of an on-off getting gate floor plate. を固定した乗降口床板(I板台)との間の表面側部分に
ランプなどの光源体を埋設したものであった。 この乗降口照明装置は、上記光源体を点灯させることに
より、上記踏板と櫛板との噛合部を乗客に認識させ、踏
板に対し乗り降りする乗客が転倒するなどの危険性を防
止するものであった。そして、この乗降口照明装置は、
櫛板と乗降口床板との間の表面側を光源体の点灯によっ
て発光するものであった。

発光面が乗客の履物で踏まれて泥や水が付くなど汚れた
り、傘の先端で突かれて損傷したりし、光源体から発す
る照明光の照度が低下してしまうという問題点があった
。 この発明は、上記のような問題点を解決するためになさ
れたもので、踏板と櫛板とが噛合う境界部を乗客により
明確に認識させることができて、安全性を向上でき、し
かも光源体が汚れたり損傷しにくク、その照度が低下し
にくい乗客コンベアの乗降口照明装置を提供することを
目的とするものである。

形成され、これらは上記櫛板2の櫛歯と噛合うように構
成されている。 また、4は踏段の両側に立設された欄干に支持されて踏
段と同期駆動される移動手摺、5,6は上記欄干の側板
の下部両側に配設されたインナーデッキ、アウターデッ
キであり、以上の構成は通常のエスカレータと同様であ
る。 この実施例では、第1図に示すように乗降口床板1裏面
の櫛板2支持部に近い傾斜部にランプホルダ7が固定さ
れ、これらのホルダ7に蛍光ランプなどからなる光源体
8が着脱可能に保持されている。光源体8は踏板3の幅
方向全体に対応するように複数本が配置され、光源体8
から発した照明光9は櫛板2と踏板3との噛合部の隙間
を通って乗客コンベアの長手方向中央側を照射するよう
にされている。なお、図示省略したが照明光に方向性を
与えるための反射板を光源体近くの上方から乗客コンベ
アの両端側にわたって設けることが好ましい。 なお、上記実施例ではエスカレータの乗降口照明装置に
ついて述べたが、この発明はパレット状の踏板を無端状
に連結した移動通路などの乗客コンベアにも適用できる

体が乗客の履物で踏まれるなどして汚れたり、傘の先端
で突かれるなどして損傷したリせず、従って光源体から
発する照明光の照度が低下しにくい乗客コンベアの乗降
口照明装置が得られるという効果がある。
