Abstract

PURPOSE:To well remove a winding habit in a sheet material by pressing or press-releasing a pressing member, which presses the sheet material in an opposite direction to a winding habit direction of the sheet material, in accordance with a residual amount of the sheet material by a control member. CONSTITUTION:In a recording system W of facsimile or the like, a roll holder 6 is charged with a sheet roll 5a, and a sheet material 5, drawn out from the sheet roll 5a, while being corrected with a winding habit to pass through between a roller 9 and a recessed part 7a, is printed on a platen roller 11 by a thermal head 10 and cut into a required length by a cutter 12. Thus printing action is successively performed, and when a winding diameter of the sheet roll 5a drops below a predetermined value, that is, an increase of the winding habit is detected by a reflection type photosensor 13, a roll 8 is pressed to the recessed part subsequent to a guide member 7 by actuating a plunger 15a, and the winding habit of the sheet material 5, which passes between the roll 8 and the recessed part, is corrected by the rolls 8 and 9. Thus by well removing the winding habit of the sheet material, stable operation of conveyance can be performed.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention is applicable to facsimile. The present invention relates to a structure for removing wrinkles in a rolled sheet material used as a recording material in word processors, printers, etc., and a recording device having a structure for removing curls in the sheet material. <Prior Art> Conventionally, in recording devices such as facsimile machines, word processors, and printers, rolled sheet materials are used as recording materials. It was being transported by bending it at a sharp angle in the opposite direction. For example, this will be explained with reference to the recording device shown in FIG. The rolled sheet material 5l pulled out from the take-up roll 51a held by the drop-in roll sheet holder 50 is bent at a steep angle in a V-shape in the opposite direction to the curling direction to remove the curly curls. Guide 52a. 52
It is guided between b. The sheet material 51 has a curl removal guide 52a. 52b, the curls are removed by passing through the conveyance path that changes at the most acute angle. The sheet material 5l from which the curls have been removed is pressed onto the platen roller 54 by a full-line thermal head 53 that generates heat in response to the west signal, thereby performing recording. The platen roller 54 supports and conveys the sheet material 51. After recording, the sheet material 51 is conveyed to the outside by a platen roller 54, and is cut by a cutter 55 when recording for one page is completed. Therefore, the sheet material 5l is always curled with the curl removal guide 52a.
.. 52b, even if the sheet material 51 is in a recording standby state, a part of the sheet material 5l is always conveyed between the curl removal guides 52a. It was left unattended after passing between 52b and 52b. Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, in the above-mentioned prior art, the sheet material 51
is in the recording standby state, the curl removal guide 52a
, 52b, there was a risk that curls would occur in the opposite direction to the curls. Further, depending on the outer diameter of the rolled sheet material 51 and the type of the sheet material 51, there are cases in which curling cannot be removed satisfactorily. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 9, the curl removal guide 5ja,
52b is provided on the downstream side of the thermal head 53 and the platen roller 54, the sheet material 51 is moved to the curl removal guide 52a. Since the sheet material 51 can be guided to the recording section without passing between the sheets 52b and 52b, no new curling will occur in the sheet material 5l during the recording standby state. However, after recording is performed on the sheet material 51 by the thermal head 53, when the platen roller 54 guides the sheet material 5l between the curl removal guides 52a and 52b, there is a risk that a jam may occur.

Furthermore, as shown in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 61-238647, when trying to change the degree of curl removal of a sheet material in a multi-step or analog manner using frictional force, each sliding of the sheet material changes over time. There were cases where the frictional force of the moving parts changed and it was not possible to remove curls properly. The present invention solves the above problems of the prior art, and can remove curls by pressing or releasing the pressure on the sheet material in the direction opposite to the curl depending on the degree of curl of the sheet material. The present invention provides a sheet material winding curl removal structure and a recording device having the sheet material winding curl removal structure. <! W! Means for Solving the Problem> Means for solving the above problems of the prior art and applied to the embodiments described below include a conveying means for conveying a sheet material wound into a roll, and a conveying means for conveying the sheet material wound into a roll. It has a pressing member for pressing in a direction opposite to the curling direction, and a control member for pressing or releasing the pressing member according to the remaining amount of the sheet material. Further, the sheet material curl removal structure is applied to a recording device. <Operation> According to the above means, a pressing member for pressing the sheet material in a direction opposite to the curling direction, and a control member for pressing or releasing the pressing member according to the remaining amount of the sheet material. Accordingly, the curling of the sheet material can be effectively removed by pressing the pressing member against the sheet material or releasing the pressure by the control member according to the degree of curling of the sheet material. It can be done. Further, the pressing member can be pressed against the sheet material only during conveyance, and the pressing member can be released when in a recording standby state,
Even if the sheet material is left on the guide member in the recording standby state, it is possible to prevent new curling from occurring in the sheet material. Furthermore, since there is relatively little change in the conveyance direction of the sheet material due to the pressing or release of the pressing member during conveyance, jams are less likely to occur and stable conveyance operation can be realized. Furthermore, when the sheet material curl removal structure is applied to a recording device, the curl of the sheet material can be effectively removed, so that high image quality can be maintained. <Embodiment> Hereinafter, an embodiment of a sheet material winding curl removal structure to which the present invention is applied and a recording apparatus having the sheet material winding curl removal structure will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective explanatory diagram of the recording system, Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional explanatory diagram of the recording system showing a case where there is a large amount of rolled sheet material remaining, and Fig. 3 shows a case where the remaining amount of rolled sheet material is small. FIG. 4 is an explanatory cross-sectional view of the recording system when the top surface of the recording system is opened. FIG. .. First, with reference to FIG. 5, the general structure of a facsimile machine to which a structure for removing wrinkles in sheet material is applied will be explained. In FIG. 5, R is a document reading system, and W is a recording system. The structure of the document reading system R includes a pre-transport roller 2b that presses the document 1 stacked on the top surface of the device with a separation pressing piece 2a;
The document is separated one by one by the separation roller 2d in pressure contact with the separation pressure piece 2C, and further conveyed by the conveyance roller 2f in pressure contact with the pressure roller 2e. 2h and a photoelectric conversion element 2j such as a CCD through the lens 21, and transmits the image signal to its own recording section in the case of the copy mode, and to the recording section of another machine in the case of the facsimile mode (transmission mode). He is arranging to do so. The structure of the recording system W is such that the main body frame 3 and the lid body 4 are connected to an axis 3a.
It is structured so that it can be opened and closed. Inside the main body frame 3, a long heat-sensitive sheet 5 that develops color when heated is wound in a roll, and the sheet roll 5a is loaded into a roll holder 6. The conveyance path of the heat-sensitive sheet 5 includes a guide member 7 having a plurality of recesses 7a for guiding the heat-sensitive sheet 5 by curving it in a direction opposite to the winding direction, and a heat-sensitive sheet provided opposite to the recesses 7a. A roller 8 which is a pressing member for pressing the sheet 5.
After the winding curl is removed by being guided by the thermal head 10, the thermal head 10 records an image according to the image signal. The platen roller l1 is intermittently rotated by a driving means (not shown) to support and convey the thermal sheet 5, and the thermal sheet 5 after recording is transferred to the platen roller l1.
1, and is arranged so that it is caught in a cutter 12 and cut from the rear end of the image. The roll holder 6 is provided with a reflective photosensor l3 for detecting the remaining amount of the thermal sheet 5. The reflective photosensor l3 detects white when there is a sufficient amount of heat-sensitive sheet 5 remaining, as shown in FIG. 2, and detects black when the remaining amount of heat-sensitive sheet 5 is low, as shown in FIG. It is designed to be detected. Note that a microswitch or an interrupt sensor may be used instead of the reflective photosensor l3. Further, the rollers 8, 9 and the thermal head 10 are rotatably attached to the lid 4, and are opened together with the lid 4 when replacing the heat-sensitive sheet 5, as shown in FIG. It is set up to do so. Next, a structure for removing wrinkles in the sheet material, which is applied to the facsimile ξ constructed as described above, will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. In FIG. 1, between the sheet roll 5a and the platen roller 11, a heat-sensitive sheet 5 is curved in a direction opposite to the winding direction of the heat-sensitive sheet 5 supported in the main body frame 3. A guide member 7 is provided which has two recesses 7a for guiding.

4a. 14b is a tension spring 16a. The roller 8 moves downward by the elastic force of the sheet 16b, presses the thermal sheet 5, curves it along the recess 7a of the guide member 7, and conveys it, and together with the roller 9, unwinds the thermal sheet 5. The effect of removing is great. In addition, -15a and 15b in the above-mentioned one lunge are bearings 14a,
14b is sucked when the photo sensor 13 detects white, that is, when the outer diameter of the sheet roll 5a is large, and in this case, the degree of curling of the thermal sheet 5 is also relatively large. Since the number of curls is small, it is possible to remove curls sufficiently by pressing only with the roller 9. On the other hand, plunger 15a. 15b is the bearing 14a,'1
The photo sensor 13 releases the suction of 4b.
If black is detected, that is, if the outer diameter of the sheet roll 5a is small, in this case, the winding diameter of the heat-sensitive sheet 50 is small, so the degree of curling is large, and the pressure from the rollers 8 and 9 prevents sufficient winding. It becomes possible to remove wrinkles. The corner and the position of the photosensor 13 are determined experimentally according to the degree of curling of the heat-sensitive sheet 5 in order to make the state of the heat-sensitive sheet 5 more flat as it is discharged. For example, it has been experimentally found that when the remaining amount of the thermal sheet 5 becomes less than a few meters, the degree of curling of the thermal sheet 5 increases rapidly. It is desirable to arrange the photosensor 13 at a position corresponding to the outer diameter of the roll 5a. Further, when the heat-sensitive sheet 5 is used up, the sheet roll 5a can be replaced by rotating the lid 4 about the shaft 3a to open the top surface, as shown in FIG. <Other Examples> Next, regarding other examples of the structure for removing wrinkles in sheet material,
This will be explained with reference to Figures 6 and 7. Although the structure is substantially the same as that of the above embodiment, in this embodiment, the guide member 7 is replaced by a foam sponge. Roller 17 with an elastic member such as a rubber roller fixed to the outer peripheral surface. 1B is main frame 3
The roller 17. Rigid rollers 8 and 9 made of iron or stainless steel, which are attached to the lid body 4, are pressed into contact with the rollers 18. Further, the rollers 8, 17 are arranged upstream of the thermal head 1 (+) and the platen roller l1, and the rollers 9, 18 are arranged downstream. Roller 9.
The thermal sheet 5 conveyed between rollers 17. 1
An elastic member fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the roller 8 is deformed by the pressure of the rollers 8 and 9, thereby bending in a direction opposite to the direction of the curl, thereby removing the curl. Incidentally, when the photo sensor 13 detects white as in the previous embodiment, the plungers l5a, 15b that press the roller 8 are moved by the bearings 14a, 15b, as shown in FIG. 14b
If the photo sensor 13 detects black, the ninth
As shown in the figure, the suction of the bearings 14a, 14b is released and the elastic force of the tension springs 16a, 16b is used to press the roller 8 against the roller 17 via the heat-sensitive sheet 5. Further, the rollers 17 and 18 may be rotated in synchronization with the platen roller 11, and the rotation speed of the roller 18 may be faster than that of the platen roller 1l. Furthermore, if the number of pairs of rollers for removing curling of the heat-sensitive sheet 5 is not limited to two but more, and means for releasing the pressure of each roller are provided, the degree of curling can be adjusted. Accordingly, it can be removed smoothly in multiple stages. <Effects of the Invention> As described above, the present invention includes a pressing member for pressing the sheet material in a direction opposite to the winding direction, and a pressing member for pressing or releasing the pressing member according to the remaining amount of the sheet material. Since a control member is provided, the curling of the sheet material can be effectively removed by pressing the pressing member against the sheet material or releasing the pressure by the control member depending on the degree of curling of the sheet material. Can be done. In addition, the pressing member can be pressed against the sheet material only during conveyance, and the pressure can be released in the recording standby state, so that even if the sheet material is left on the guide member in the recording standby state, the sheet This can prevent new curls from forming in the wood. Furthermore, since there is relatively little change in the conveyance direction of the sheet material due to the pressing or release of the pressing member during conveyance, jams are less likely to occur and stable conveyance operation can be realized. Furthermore, when the sheet material winding curl removing structure is applied to a recording device, there is relatively little change in the conveyance direction of the sheet material, so the device can be downsized, and the winding curl of the sheet material can be removed. Since the degree of removal can be changed in multiple stages to achieve good removal, high image quality can be maintained.
