側に軸孔を設けて軸頭裏側の円孔周縁部に着脱可
能に且つ自由に回動し得るようにねじで軸着され
ているが、三脚を繰り返し使用することにより、
軸着したねじに緩みが生じて上下方向のガタを生
じるようになると、定芯桿が円弧状部から抜け落
ちることがあつた。而して抜け落ちると汚損や毀
損により再び挿着するのに手間どり、測量上大変
支障を生じていた。
