Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a temperature fuse caused by the abrasion during packing, transportation, storage or assembling into a device by providing a protruded fuse protective case made of a heat-resistant material on the temperature fuse formed on a porcelain board. CONSTITUTION:A resistor circuit layer 4 is formed on a porcelain board 7, an over-glaze layer 6 is formed on the board 7 except a fuse section, and a fuse is formed on the board 7, and a protective case 1 made of a heat-resistant material such as an aluminum plate or heat-resistant resin machined into a protruded shape is fitted astride this circuit. The height of the protruded section of the protective case 1 is set to 1.0-5.0mm for the inner size from the board face to the inner face of the case 1. The damage of the porcelain circuit board 7 with the temperature fuse 3 caused by the abrasion due to vibrations during packing or transportation or the abrasion during the fitting to a device is prevented by the protective case 1.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention is directed to preventing damage to the temperature fuse circuit of an enameled sheet resistance circuit board used as a control board for automotive air conditioners and preventing repair after the fuse is activated. The present invention relates to a thermal fuse circuit board with a protective case having functions.

However, most conventional fuses are fixed at one end with a low-melting metal such as an electric wire or a leaf spring, so there is a lot of variation in operating temperature, and the fuse does not function as intended. As such, it could hardly be called outrageous. Therefore, the present inventors first developed an enameled resistor circuit board with excellent heat dissipation and mechanical strength, so that the fuse would operate accurately when the temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature due to constant heat generation, etc. An enameled circuit board with a temperature fuse formed by printing and firing a low-melting point metal in a predetermined thickness and area between the divided circuits is used as a control board for an air conditioner for an automobile. These problems were solved by prompting the government.

However, although the enamel board with a fuse circuit that the present inventors previously proposed has excellent operating characteristics as a temperature fuse, the low melting point metal that forms the fuse is relatively soft; Because they are formed in a thin layer, they can become damaged due to abrasion caused by vibrations during packaging and transportation, or abrasion during installation into equipment, resulting in them not operating at a specified temperature, which can lead to malfunctions.

In addition, if the temperature fuse is exposed like this, if the temperature fuse is activated for some reason, there is a possibility that it will be repaired incorrectly by service personnel or general users. There was a risk that the fuse would no longer function as intended.

The height of the convex portion of the protective case is 1.0 to 5.0 mm from the substrate surface to the inward direction of the case using the F'l=j method. If this dimension is smaller than 1.0, there is a risk that the inner surface of the case and the fuse may come into contact with each other. Moreover, if this dimension is larger than 5.0g+n, this protective case may become an obstacle when packaging and transporting the board, and may even cause the protective case to fall off, which is not preferable.
