[Background Art] Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 6, a gable plate 5 is installed at the corner formed by the roof 2 with a short eaves and the outer wall 1 through a gap 4 from the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1. During installation, a soffit member 20 was spanned between the lower end of the gable board 5 and the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1, and the gap 4 was shielded by the soffit member 20. However, since the gap 4 was shielded by the eaves ceiling member 20, ventilation in the attic and inside the walls could not be done at the eaves, and since the eaves were short, rainwater could not flow through the eave ceiling members 20.
There was a problem that the water flowed down to the outer wall 1 and stained the outer wall 1.

[Purpose of the invention] The present invention was devised in view of the problems of the conventional example described above. The purpose of this invention is to enable ventilation at the eaves and to prevent rainwater coming from the lower end of the gable board. To provide a structure for an eaves that can drain water to prevent rainwater from running down an outer wall side and furthermore preventing rainwater from infiltrating into a ventilation hole side.

[Disclosure of the invention] The structure of the eaves of the invention is such that the outer wall 1 is placed at the corner formed by the roof 2 and the outer wall 1, which protrude slightly from the upper end of the outer wall 1.
A gable plate 5 is installed at a position apart from the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1 through a gap 4, and a parting edge 6 is attached to shield between the lower end of the gable plate 5 and the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1. A ventilation hole 8 that communicates the outdoor space 7 with the gap 4 between the gable board 5 and the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1 is bored, and the tip is located at a position below the ventilation hole 8 and away from the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1. By adopting this configuration, the above-mentioned object of the present invention is achieved. That is, in the case of the present invention, the lower end of the gable plate 5 and the outer wall 1 are connected by the parting edge 6.
The gap 4 between the surface member 3 and the surface member 3 can be shielded for a good appearance, and the ventilation hole 8 provided in the parting edge 6 can be used to ventilate the attic or inside the wall. The draining piece 9 prevents rainwater flowing from the gable plate 5 side from reaching the outer wall 1 side.

The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to Examples. The roof 2 slightly protrudes from the upper end of the outer wall 1. In other words, the present invention is intended for those with short eaves. A gable plate 5 is attached to the corner formed by the roof 2 and the outer wall 1 at a position apart from the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1 with a gap 4 interposed therebetween. The lower end of this gable plate 5 and the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1 are shielded by a parting edge 6. The parting edge 6 is composed of an attachment member 10 and a parting edge main body 11, and the attachment member 10 is fixed to the gable plate 5 in advance. A downward recess 13 is provided on the upper side of the rising piece 12 of the mounting member 10, and a serrated portion 14 is provided on the inner wall of the downward recess 13. The parting edge main body 11 is provided with a serrated fitting part 16 at the upper end of the vertical piece 15, and a side projecting piece 17 extends sideward from the middle part of the vertical piece 15. A ventilation hole 8 is bored in the vertical piece 17, and a draining piece 9 extends from the lower end of the vertical piece 15 in the same direction as the side projecting piece 17. Here, the draining piece 9 has a shorter protruding length than the side projecting piece 17, and is located further below the ventilation hole 8. Further, a gable plate lower end covering piece 19 for covering the lower end portion of the gable plate 5 is provided on the opposite side of the lower end of the vertical piece 15 to the direction in which the draining piece 9 projects. Thus, the parting edge main body 11 has the serrated fitting portion 16 fitted into the downward recess 13 of the mounting member 10 so that the serrated fitting portion 16 is engaged with the serrated portion 14. When the parting edge main body 11 is attached in this manner, the tips of the side projecting pieces 17 come into contact with the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1. Further, a small gap 19 is formed between the tip of the draining piece 9 and the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1. There is no surface member 3 at the upper end of the outer wall 1, and therefore the attic space 18 and the inside of the outer wall 1 communicate with the gap 4 through the upper end of the outer wall 1 where the surface member 3 is not present. By communicating the gap 4 with the outdoor space 7, the outdoor space 7 is communicated with the attic space 18 and the inside of the outer wall 1, thereby providing ventilation. Furthermore, gable board 5
Rainwater flowing from the lower end to the parting edge 6 is transmitted to the tip of the draining piece 9, but it is drained at the tip of the draining piece 9 and further intrudes into the surface member 3 of the outer wall 1.
It is something that cannot be conveyed to others. Furthermore, since the draining piece 9 is located below the ventilation hole 8, rainwater that has reached the tip of the draining piece 9 does not flow toward the ventilation hole 8 side.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, a gable board is installed at the corner formed by the roof and the outer wall, which slightly protrudes from the upper end of the outer wall, at a position separated from the surface member of the outer wall through a gap. Attach a drainage edge that shields the gap between the lower end of the gable board and the outer wall surface member, and drill a ventilation hole in this cutoff edge to communicate the gap between the gable board and the outer wall surface member with the outdoor space. Since it has been done,
The parting edge can cover the gap between the lower end of the gable board and the surface member of the outer wall, giving it a good appearance, and the ventilation holes provided in the parting edge can be used to ventilate the attic and inside the walls. Furthermore, since we provided a water cutter below the ventilation hole with its tip located away from the surface member 3 of the outer wall, the water cutter prevents rainwater flowing from the gable board side from reaching the outer wall. It has the advantage of not contaminating the surface.
