Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a channel by detecting a line state of a zone covered by other adjacent control stations so as to adjust the speech channel of its own station zone in a control station for a mobile telephone system in which plural mobile stations are connected. CONSTITUTION:Control stations 1, 3, 5 are provided respectively with antennas 2, 4, 9 and other station zone retrieval section 6, a speech channel control section 8, and a line connection section 7. To the control station 1, n-set of mobile stations 11-13 are connected, to the control station 3, n'-set of mobile stations 14-16 are connected, and to the control station 5, n''-set of mobile stations 17-19 are connected, a zone A is covered by the control station 1, a zone B is covered by the control station 3, and a zone C is covered by the control station 5 respectively. When a value (n) is decreased by DELTAn, idle channels are detected by the other station zone retrieval section 6 of the control stations 3, 5 and shared to the zones B, C. Thus, the number of mobile stations to be connected is increased for both the zones B, C by DELTAn. If no mobile station is resident in the zone A, a maximum of 2N in total of the mobile stations (N is number of channels for the entire system) are connected to the zones B, C.
