Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to reproduce constant position feeling (stereo image) accurately by providing a control means for regulating the output according to a delay time and an attenuation constant. CONSTITUTION:Right and left signals detected through a balance control circuit 11 and front and rear signals detected through a fader control circuit 12 are fed, as control signals, to a delay circuit 13. The delay circuit 13 incorporates a delay circuit for setting the delay time of output signals corresponding to respective speakers FR, FL, RR, RL. The balance control circuit 11 and the fader control circuit 12 incorporate circuits for setting the attenuation constants (volume) of output signals corresponding to the delay time. Output is then regulated according to the delay time set by the delay circuit and the attenuation constant (volume) set by the attenuation constant setting circuit. Consequently, arriving time and volume of reproduced sound are equalized for a listener and constant position feeling (stereo image) is reproduced accurately.
