本発明は、自動車ドアの製造方法に関し、特にインナパ
ネルに対する部品の取付けを容易にした自動車ドアの製
造方法に関する.
〔従来の技術〕

図(断面図)に示したように、アウタパネル1とインナ
パネル2とがそれらの周縁部1a,2aで結合されて構

ため、ドア内部の艤装部品の取付けが、インナパネル2
に形戒された作業穴3を利用して行なわなければならず
、艤装部品の取付けは作業性が悪く工数がかかるという
問題点がある.
本発明は、このような問題点の解決をはかろうとするも
ので、アウタパネルとインナパネルとをそれらの周縁部
でクリップにより仮結合した状態で塗装を行ない、塗装
完了後に上記仮結合を解除してアウタパネルとインナパ
ネルとを分離し、インナパネルに魁装部品を取付けた後
、両パネルを再び結合することにより、總装部品の取付
け作業を簡単化した、自動車ドアの製造方法を提供する
ことを目的とする.
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上述の目的を達戒するため、本発明の自動車ドアの′t
IJ造方法は、アウタパネルとインナパネルとがそれら
の周縁部で互いに接きされて形成される自動車ドアの製
造に際し、上記のアウタパネルとインナパネルとをそれ
らの周縁部で重合するとともに上記両周縁部に形成され
たリベット取付穴に仮止用のクリップを装着して仮結合
した後、仮結合状態で上記のアウタパネルとインナパネ
ルとに塗装を施し、同塗装の完了後に上記クリップを切
断し上記仮結合を解除して上記インナパネルを上記アウ
タパネルから分離し、分離された上記インナパネルに艤
装部品を取付け、次いでこのインナパネルと上記アウタ
パネルとをそれらの周縁部で再び重合するとともに上記
リベット取付穴にリベットを装着してこのリベットによ
り上記のインナパネルとアウタパネルとをそれらの周縁
部で結合した後、上記両周縁部と上記リベットとを隠蔽
すべくエッジブロテクタを上記両周縁部の外周に沿って
装着したことを特徴としている.
〔作 用〕
上述の本発明の自動車ドアの製造方法では、アウタパネ
ルとインナパネルとが塗装完了後に各パネルに分離され
、インナパネルへの魁装部品の取付けがアウタパネルを
分離された状態のもとで行なえるので、その取付作業が

上や風切音の低減などの効果が期待できる.
なお、エッジブロテクタ6を着色した塩化ビニールを素
材とした成形品で形成すると、その色彩を自動車ボデー
と同色に選定できるほが、自動車ボデーと異なった色彩
とすることもできて、自動車デザイン上有利である.
〔発明の効果〕
以上詳述したように、本発明の自動車ドアの製造方法に
よれば、次のような効果ないし利点が得られる.
(1〉アウタパネルとインナパネルとが仮結合された状
態で塗装されるので、塗装工数が少なくてすむ.
(2)インナパネルへの犠装部品の取付けが、アウタパ
ネルを取除いた状態で行なえるので、その取付け作業が
簡単化されるほが、工数が少なくなる.
(3)両パネルの周縁重き部とリベットとを隠蔽するエ
ッジブロテクタが上記周縁重合部に装着されているので
、ドアの外観が良好になるほか、エッジプロテクタの舌
片がフェンダーなどの車体側部材に当接してドア周縁部
