However, in the conventional method, the upper surface of each grate was flat, and the difference in level between them became a drop, which resulted in poor stirring and turning performance of the dehydrated cake.

(Means for solving the problem) The stepped drying stoker of the present invention has a fixed grate and a movable grate whose upper surfaces are flat, and these are arranged approximately horizontally and alternately in a stair-like manner to dry the dehydrated cake. The step type drying stoker is characterized in that a protrusion having a steeply inclined front surface and a gently inclined rear surface is formed on the front side of the upper surface of either the fixed grate or the movable grate.

(Function) When the movable grate is moved back and forth with respect to the fixed grate, the dehydrated cake is sequentially moved to the lower front side and dried.

Since projections are formed on the front side of the upper surface of at least one of the fixed grate and the movable grate, when the dehydrated cake moves from the upper surface of the grate with the projections to the upper surface of the lower grate, migrates over the protrusion.

Therefore, since the dehydrated cake moves through a head that is larger than the step between the top surfaces of each grate by the amount of the protrusion,
There are more opportunities to stir and invert.

There are a plurality of fixed grates 2 and movable grates 3 each having flat upper surfaces 5 and 6, and these are arranged approximately horizontally and alternately in a step-like manner.
Each movable grate 3 is moved back and forth relative to the movable grate 3.

That is, each fixed grate 2 is fixed to the furnace body of an incinerator for dewatered sewage cake, for example. Each movable grate 3 is supported so as to be movable in the front and rear directions relative to the furnace body, and is synchronously moved back and forth by a driving machine.

When each movable grate 3 is moved back and forth with respect to each fixed grate 2 by starting the driving machine, the dehydrated cake A is successively moved to the lower front side and dried.

When the dehydrated cake A transitions from the fixed grate 2 to the movable grate 3, the dehydrated cake A passes through a substantially triangular protrusion 4 formed on the front side from the flat upper surface 5 of the fixed grate 2.

At this time, the head height H of the dehydrated cake A is from the top of the protrusion 4 to the flat top surface of the movable grate 3, and the height difference h from the flat top surface 5 of the fixed grate 2 to the flat top surface 6 of the movable grate 3. That is, since the height of the protrusions 4 is greater than the height of the fixed grate 2, there are more opportunities for the dehydrated cake A to be stirred and turned over.

Of course, the migration distance of the dehydrated cake A becomes longer as the dehydrated cake A passes over the protrusion 4.

Therefore, stirring and inversion of the dehydrated cake A are promoted, and drying is performed satisfactorily.
