Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a response message from tiring the originating side by storing plural response messages in solid-state memories and periodically selecting them to send periodically different response messages in response to a call from a line. CONSTITUTION:Plural response messages are provided in storage areas of memory parts 1 to N (N is an integer equal to or larger than 2), and one of memory parts 1 to N is selected to read out the response message stored in the selected memory part. Since memory parts 1 to N are periodically selected by a memory selecting part 3, the periodically different response message is read out from the storage area and is sent to the line in the automatic response mode at each time of the call from the line. Thus, an automatic answering telephone equipment of high reliability is obtained which sends response messages which do not tire the originating side and always generates the message from the first.

The above-mentioned conventional answering machine has a problem in that the calling party tends to get bored because one type of response message stored in the solid-state memory or the magnetic tape recording and reproducing device is output to the line every time there is a response. In addition, it has a storage area that can store multiple response messages, and adopts a system that automatically switches the response message depending on whether there is a storage area to record the voice message from the caller or not. However, since there is only one type of response message for prompting recording of the business, the problem is similar to the above case. In addition, a device that has a plurality of response messages and manually switches between them is also considered, but this also has the problem of requiring time and effort to switch. In addition, in the case of a device that uses magnetic tape or the like as a recording medium for response messages, multiple response messages are recorded, and when a response is received from the line, the response messages are periodically switched by rewinding the tape, etc. There is also a device that uses this method, but in this case, it takes time to rewind the tape, and if a call arrives while the tape is being rewound or a problem occurs with the tape, there is a problem in that the sending of the response message will be delayed.

An answering machine of the present invention stores a response message in a solid-state memory, automatically answers an incoming call from a line in automatic answering mode, and sends the response message stored in the solid-state memory to the line. wherein the solid-state memory has a plurality of response messages in a storage area, and periodically selects one of the plurality of response messages in response to an incoming call from a line in automatic response mode, and receives the selected response. It is characterized in that the content of the message is sent from the storage area to the readout line.

The telephone circuit section 1 sends an incoming call signal to the answering machine control section 2 in response to an incoming call from the line. The answering machine control section 2 sends a memory selection signal to the memory selecting section 3 when the answering mode is an automatic response mode such as an answering mode. The memory selection unit 3 internally holds a value that changes periodically every time a memory selection signal is input by increasing or decreasing the internal force → value or flag by +1, and according to this value, the memory units l to N ( N is an integer of 2 or more)
One of the memory sections is selected and an access enable signal is sent to make the selected memory section accessible. The memory section that has received the access enable signal outputs the response message stored therein to the D/A converter section 4 via the memory data bus 5. The D/A converter 4 performs parallel-to-serial conversion on the response message data from the memory section, performs digital-to-analog conversion on the serial output, and outputs it to the telephone circuit section 1 as an analog response message.

The count value of the counter section 7 is increased or decreased by the memory selection signal from the answering machine control section 2. Counter section 7
is set in an N-ary counter (N is an integer of 2 or more), and the increase/decrease Δn due to one memory selection signal 'y' can be any value as long as Δn is an integer of 1 or more and a value different from N. It is possible to achieve this by

Next, the counter section 7 inputs this count value to the decoding section 8, and the decoding section 8 selects one of the N memory sections according to the received count value, and stores the memory section for this selected memory section. An access enable signal that enables retrieval is output to one of the gate circuits 9. The gate circuit 9 inputs a memory read signal from the answering machine control unit 6 to each gate circuit 9, and inputs the above-mentioned access enable signal.
By enabling only the memory section 1-1 and outputting the memory read signal only to the memory section connected to it,
Select one of N and enable reading of the response message stored therein. As explained above, the memory sections 1 to N are periodically selected by the memory selection section 3, so that a different response message can be read out periodically each time a call is received from the line in the automatic answering mode. A specific response message can be sent each time.
