Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily attain fine adjustment to an oscillating frequency by providing plural slits to at least one of two strip lines interdigitally in parallel with a travelling direction of an electromagnetic wave and cutting off a pattern formed by the plural slits so as to adjust the oscillating frequency. CONSTITUTION:The oscillator consists of an oscillation transistor(TR) 1, strip lines 2, 3 formed on a dielectric base, alambda/2 resonator 4, coupling capacitors 5, 6 with the lambda/2 resonator 4, a capacitor 7, a resistor 8 and an interdigital slit 9 for fine adjustment of the oscillating frequency. The oscillating frequency is varied by cutting off several thin patterns formed with the interdigital slit 9 made in the strip 3 in parallel with the travelling direction of an electromagnetic wave. That is, the oscillating frequency is changed by cutting off the pattern shown in broken lines A, B shown in an enlarged drawing of the interdigital slit 9 shown in alternate long and short dash lines in figure above. Thus, fine adjustment of the oscillating frequency is simplified.

In the oscillator of the present invention, one end of two strip lines formed on a dielectric substrate is fixed to the collector and base of the transistor, and the other end is fixed to the collector and base of the transistor.
In an oscillator that is magnetically coupled or electrically coupled to a two-wavelength resonator, a plurality of slits are provided in at least one of the two strip lines in a comb shape parallel to the traveling direction of electromagnetic waves, and a pattern is formed by the plurality of slits. Cut the oscillation frequency to adjust the oscillation frequency.

Here, the oscillation frequency is changed by cutting several thin patterns separated by comb-shaped slits 9 provided in the strip line 3 and parallel to the direction of propagation of electromagnetic waves. That is, as shown in the enlarged view of the comb-shaped slit 9 in the dashed-dotted line in FIG.
By cutting the oscillation frequency, the oscillation frequency can be changed. Here, the oscillation frequency can be changed finely in steps depending on the number of patterns to be cut.

As explained above, the present invention has an oscillation transistor and a λ/2
By providing comb-shaped slits in the strip line between the resonator and cutting several thin patterns separated by the slits, fine adjustment of the oscillation frequency becomes possible. Therefore, fine adjustment of the oscillation frequency is extremely easy, and a desired oscillation frequency can be obtained without soldering strip lines as in the conventional example.
