An X-ray CT device will be explained as an example of a radiological treatment device. In this X-ray CT device, an X-ray tube and an X-ray detector are placed facing each other with the subject in between.
Data regarding line absorption is collected and a tomographic image is created. In order to cope with variations in the X-ray dose, this apparatus usually uses a part of the X-ray beam that does not pass through the object for calibration, and uses this for correction of data. However, although this can certainly correct variations in X-ray dose, it does not correct variations in X-ray energy at all.

Since the x-ray energy is related to the x-ray tube voltage, the x-ray energy is normally adjusted by measuring and adjusting the tube voltage. This adjustment is always performed especially when replacing the X-ray tube. However, even if the tube voltage can be adjusted with good reproducibility, it is difficult to adjust the X-ray energy with good reproducibility because the thickness of the unique filter in each X-ray tube varies from product to product. It is.

By the way, in the case of an X-ray CT apparatus, image reconstruction software is usually created assuming that the X-ray energy is a certain value (usually 120 KeV). Therefore, when the X-ray energy changes, image deterioration such as a change in CT value or poor image uniformity occurs.

In the CT device, as shown in Fig. 2 A and B,
An X-ray tube 7 and an X-ray detector 8 are arranged facing each other with a patient 6 in between.
The ray detector 8 rotates, and the X-ray beam irradiated from the X-ray tube 7 in the form of a fan beam is incident on each of a large number of small detection elements arranged in the X-ray detector 8.
When the X-ray beam transmitted through the patient 6 is incident, a signal output from the X-ray detector 8 is sent to a data acquisition device (not shown), and data regarding the amount of X-ray absorption is obtained. This data is sent to an image reconstruction device (not shown) to generate a fan-beam X
The distribution image of the X-ray absorption coefficient in the cross section scanned by the ray beam is reconstructed as a tomographic image.

When measuring X-ray energy in this third generation X-ray CT apparatus, the top plate 1 is moved to position the X-ray beam to pass through the reference objects 4 and 5. Data on the amount of X-ray absorption (or X-ray absorption coefficient) is obtained from the X-ray detector 8 by the incidence of the X-ray beam that has passed through the reference objects 4 and 5. If the data of these reference objects 4 and 5 are Ia and Ib, respectively, Ia∝e -a
