Abstract

PURPOSE:To make clean the garbage contained in washing-water without accu mulating in a waterlevel-detecting chamber, by a method wherein the waterlevel- detecting chamber communicates with a washing receptacle and a difference in level is formed between the bottom of the waterlevel-detecting chamber and the bottom of the washing receptacle. CONSTITUTION:A water-supplying chamber 5 and a waterlevel-detecting chamber 6 respectively communicate with a washing receptacle 2 through a water- supplying opening 11 and a water-detecting opening 12, and a buffer rib 14 with a flow-separating opening 13 is between the water-supplying chamber 5 and the waterlevel-detecting chamber 6 and divides them. A bottom 23 of the washing receptacle is made lower than a bottom 24 of the waterlevel- detecting chamber, and a difference 25 in level is formed. Even if the washing water in the waterlevel-detecting chamber 6 decreases, it continues to flow into the washing receptacle 2 because of the existence of the difference 25, and hence it does not happen that the washing water remains in the waterlevel- detecting chamber 6.

(c) Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in this conventional example, when the washing water is drained, the washing water in the water level detection chamber cannot be drained completely, and the washing water remains like a puddle, and then the washing water dries. Then, the contained debris gets stuck inside the water level detection chamber. If it accumulates, problems such as float malfunction and bad odor may occur.

本発明は、かかる課題を解決するものである。The present invention solves this problem.

(d) Means for solving the problem The solution according to the present invention includes a cleaning tank that circulates and sprays cleaning water, and a water level detection chamber that detects the water level in the cleaning tank,
The cleaning tank is configured to communicate with a water level detection chamber, and a step is provided between the bottom surface of the water level detection chamber and the bottom surface of the cleaning tank.

(e) While washing or rinsing tableware, the water level detection chamber is filled with washing water through the communication port, but when the washing water is drained after washing or rinsing is completed, the washing water in the water level detection chamber flows into the cleaning tank through the communication port. At this time, due to the difference in level between the bottom of the cleaning tank and the bottom of the water level detection chamber, a water flow toward the cleaning tank is always generated in the water level detection chamber, and all of the cleaning water in the water level detection chamber flows into the cleaning tank.

(f) To explain based on the embodiment drawings, the machine frame 1 of the dishwasher has a cleaning tank 2 inside, the tableware entrance/exit in the front of the cleaning tank 2 is opened/closed with a door 3, and the lower part of the front has an operating section. section and control section. A cleaning/drainage pump 4 (hereinafter referred to as pump) is provided below the cleaning tank 2 in the machine frame 1, and a ventilation chamber 7 is provided at the upper rear portion. Furthermore, a water supply chamber 5 and a water level detection chamber 6 are arranged adjacent to each other at the rear lower part of the cleaning tank 2.

A rotating spray nozzle 8 is provided at the lower center of the cleaning tank 2, and a heater 9 is provided at the lower center of the cleaning tank 2. The pump 4 sucks cleaning water through the filter 1o,
During cleaning rotation (forward rotation), the water is discharged to the injection nozzle 8, and during drainage rotation (reverse rotation), it is discharged to a drainage hose (not shown). A passage switching valve is provided as necessary.

The water supply chamber 5 and the water level detection chamber 6 communicate with the cleaning tank 2 through a water supply port 11 and a water level detection port 12, respectively, and a diversion port 13 is left between the water supply chamber 5 and the water level detection chamber 6. The water supply chamber 5 is partitioned by a buffer rib 14.The water supply chamber 5 has a diagonal position with respect to the diversion port 13 expanding in a direction away from the buffer rib 14.
This expanded portion is inclined toward the buffer rib 14 and the water supply port 11, and a water supply pipe 16 via a water supply valve 15 is made to face this portion. In addition, two floats 17 and 18 are arranged in the water level detection chamber 6, and each float 1
A water level switch 19 and an abnormal water level switch 20 which are operated by the surfacing of 7.18 are provided.

When supplying water during the washing or rinsing process, first turn on water supply valve 1.
5 is opened, but the city water supplied from the water supply pipe 16 flows down from one corner of the water supply chamber 5 into the room and toward the buffer rib 14. Then, the city water is deflected by the buffer ribs 14 toward the water supply port 11 and is supplied to the cleaning tank 2. Also, rib 14
A part of the water flowing along flows into the water level detection chamber 6 from the branch port 13. Since the inflowing city water moves in a crank shape, it becomes still water, washes almost the entire area inside the water level detection chamber 6, and then flows out from the communication port 12 to the washing tank 2.
21 is a rectifier piece provided at the water supply port 11 and the communication port 12.

In this way, water supply into the cleaning WI 2 progresses, the water level rises, each float 17, 18 floats, and when the predetermined water level is reached,
The water level switch 19 operates. Then, the water supply valve 15 is closed, and a washing process or a rinsing process is performed. Even just before the predetermined water level is reached, the water supplied from the diversion port 13 is kept still, so the floats 17 and 18 do not swing much.

Next, when draining water in the washing or rinsing process, pump 4
is reversed and the cleaning water is discharged outside the machine. At this time, the cleaning water in the water level detection chamber 6 flows out into the cleaning tank 2 through the communication port 12. Even if the cleaning water in the water level detection chamber 6 becomes low, the existence of the step 25 causes the cleaning water to continue flowing toward the inside of the cleaning 1'llZ, so that the cleaning water does not accumulate in the water level detection chamber 6. There isn't.

The heater 9 is used both for heating the cleaning water (rinsing water) and for heating the drying air. A blower 22 in the ventilation chamber 7 supplies outside air as dry air into the cleaning WI2. The supplied outside air is heated by the heater 9 to become dry air and is discharged outside the machine while being used for drying.
