The above-mentioned case equipped with a hot storage room and a cold storage room is called an open cooler, and these days, it is often used in small-scale convenience stores and the like. Fluorescent lamps are generally used as internal illumination lights for such show cases. By the way, in conventional show cases, fluorescent lamps are installed in each of the greenhouse and refrigerator compartments to provide separate illumination, but this lighting system has the following problems. That is, the greenhouse room and the refrigerator room have different internal volumes, so it is not possible to install fluorescent lamps of the same capacity. As a result, a difference in illuminance occurs between the lights in each room, resulting in a poor appearance and a reduction in the lighting effect of the entire show case. Also, the atmosphere inside the greenhouse
Because the temperature is as high as 60°C, the lifespan of fluorescent lights in the greenhouse is shorter than that of fluorescent lights in the refrigerator. Furthermore, since two sets of lighting equipment are required, the cost increases accordingly. From this point of view, an improvement plan has been proposed in which a single long fluorescent lamp is placed across both the greenhouse and refrigerator compartments, penetrating the partition wall, to provide common illumination for both compartments. I'm there. According to this lighting method, only one set of lighting equipment is required, which can reduce costs. However, it has been found that this method causes the following new problems. In other words, if fluorescent lamps are commonly installed across the greenhouse and refrigerator, the surface temperature of the tube wall of the fluorescent lamp will be high in the area inside the greenhouse (indoor temperature 60°C), but the surface temperature on the inside of the refrigerator room ( In the region where the indoor temperature is 5°C), the tube wall surface temperature is low.
On the other hand, as is well known, the brightness of a fluorescent lamp changes depending on the mercury vapor pressure inside the tube and, therefore, the surface temperature of the tube wall. For this reason, in the above system, the brightness of the fluorescent lamps varies due to the temperature difference between the greenhouse side and the refrigerator side, making it impossible to provide effective illumination of the entire show case.

This idea was developed in consideration of the above points, and it skillfully solves the problems mentioned above. To provide a refrigerator lighting device, particularly a mounting structure for a fluorescent lamp thereof, which can eliminate unevenness in illuminance and equalize illuminance in both rooms.

In order to achieve the above purpose, this invention is designed to surround the fluorescent lamps that are commonly installed in both the hot storage room and the cold storage room so that the upper and lower open ends of the fluorescent lamps are connected to the hot storage room. By installing a transparent fluorescent lamp protection tube that opens into the room or refrigerator compartment, and allowing a small amount of cold air to flow from the refrigerator compartment side to the surface of the fluorescent lamp through the protection tube, excessive temperature on the wall of the fluorescent lamp tube can be prevented. The temperature distribution on the surface of the tube wall is averaged over the entire length region while suppressing the increase in temperature, thereby preventing uneven illuminance and extending the life of the fluorescent lamp.

Figures 1 to 3 show examples of this invention. In each figure, 1 is the main body case of the case, 2 is a transparent glass door installed in the front, and the interior of case 1 is A hot storage room 4 and a cold storage room 5 are defined above and below through a partition wall 3 made of a heat insulating material. In addition, a heater 6 for indoor heating and a hot air fan 7 for indoor circulation ventilation are provided in the greenhouse 4, and a cooler 8 and a cold air fan 9 for indoor circulation ventilation are provided in the refrigerator compartment 5. During operation, hot air and cold air are circulated in each room as indicated by arrows H and C to heat and cool the products (not shown) displayed in the room. Note that 10 is a wind direction plate arranged on the discharge side of the fan 6 inside the greenhouse. On the other hand, a greenhouse compartment 4 and a refrigerator compartment 5 are inserted through the partition wall 3 mentioned above at the center of the front of the interior of the storage case.
A long fluorescent lamp 11 is arranged vertically in both chambers, and a fluorescent lamp protection tube 12 is arranged surrounding the fluorescent lamp 11. This protection tube 12 is made of transparent glass, plastic, etc., and its upper and lower ends are connected to the greenhouse compartment 4 and the refrigerator compartment 5.
It is open inward. Furthermore, as clearly shown in the detailed view of FIG. 3, especially for the upper open end of the protection tube 12, the fan wind H circulating inside the greenhouse 4 side blows horizontally above the open end of the protection tube. The installation position of the fan 7 and the direction of the ventilation hole of the wind direction plate 10 are selected so that the air flows through the air. Due to the above-mentioned fluorescent lamp installation structure, the indoor temperature of greenhouse room 4 is approximately 60℃ when the show case is in operation.
On the other hand, the indoor temperature of the refrigerator compartment 5 is maintained at about 5° C., so there is a large temperature difference between the upper open end and the lower open end of the protection tube 12. Furthermore, fan air flows sideways inside the greenhouse chamber with respect to the upper open end of the protection tube 12, creating negative pressure at the open end. As a result, a slight pressure difference is created between the upper and lower open ends of the protective tube 12, and based on this pressure difference, the inside of the tube moves from the refrigerator compartment side to the greenhouse side as shown by arrow P in FIG. A small amount of cold air flows along the surface of the fluorescent lamp 11, and a cooling effect is exerted on the tube wall of the fluorescent lamp, which is heated in the high-temperature atmosphere around the fluorescent lamp, especially in the region on the side of the greenhouse. As a result, the tube wall surface temperature is averaged over the entire length of the fluorescent lamp 11, and the illuminance of the fluorescent lamp becomes almost uniform over the entire length, making it possible to maintain the same brightness of illumination in the greenhouse and refrigerator compartments. Furthermore, the above-mentioned cooling effect prevents an excessive temperature rise in the area inside the greenhouse of the fluorescent lamp, thereby preventing shortening of the life of the fluorescent lamp. In this case, regarding the flow rate of cold air flowing through the protection tube 12, if the amount of ventilation increases more than necessary, it will have a negative effect on the temperature inside the greenhouse. The speed of the wind flowing above the protection tube on the room side is selected. The illumination effect can be further enhanced by applying, for example, a warm color to the area inside the hot storage compartment and a cold color to the area inside the refrigerator compartment of the protective tube 12.

As described above, according to this invention, for fluorescent lamps installed across the greenhouse and refrigerator compartments that are defined above and below, the fluorescent lamps are surrounded and the upper and lower openings are opened. By installing transparent fluorescent lamp protection tubes with their ends opening into the greenhouse and refrigerator compartments, a small amount of cold air flows from the refrigerator compartment side to the surface of the fluorescent lamps through the protective tubes. It is possible to equalize the surface temperature of the tube wall over the entire length of the fluorescent lamp inside the tube, making the illumination intensity of the greenhouse and refrigerator rooms almost the same, improving the lighting effect, and reducing the fluorescence in the area on the greenhouse side. It is possible to achieve effects such as suppressing an excessive temperature rise of the lamp and extending its life.
