記プラグの側壁12の溝13にはシールリング5
を嵌設してマフラ2の内周面間の気密を保持させ

案内部材となつている。プラグ3の側壁の上部に
二条のシールリング溝13を刻設させてある。こ
れらシールリング溝13にはシールリング5をを
嵌入して該プラグのマフラ円筒部分摺動時の気密
の保持を行なわせる。これらのシールリング溝1
3よりさらに上方、すなわち前記側壁の頂部端に
は調整輪溝14を刻設し、この調整輪溝14内
に、薄板で発条作用をもたせて成形させた菊花状
の調整輪7(第3図)を嵌入してある。この調整
輪の外周はマフラ2の円筒部分の内周面に当接す
る。側壁頂面にはストツパリング8をリング取付
ボルト15で固着させて、前記調整輪7の抜けを
防止している。この取付け状況は第2図に詳細に
示してある。
