Abstract

PURPOSE:To catch the interest of a consumer by emitting an emitter fitted to the main body of a container and stimulating the retina of an observer by the light of the emitter. CONSTITUTION:A main body 10 of the container is formed in a shape modeling on a can as the container of canned beer and as an example of the emitter, four red light emitting diodes (LED) 14 are parallelly provided on one lateral line on the downside of a label 12 on the surface of the main body 10 of the container. The LED 14... are arranged so that lighting parts at the tips of the LED 14... can be observed from the outside through small holes abutted to the outer wall of the main body 10 of the container. Each time one oscillation pulse is sent from an oscillation circuit 22, a driver circuit 24 turns on the parallelly connected LED 14... one by one selectively and successively. Thus, the observer is attracted by the light of the LED 14... and the interest of the consumer can be caught.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present invention have proposed that if a sample container can be displayed and the container can be made to stand out from a certain environment, it will attract consumers' interest and attention to the sample container. I thought it might be possible. After repeated research into whether a method using light would be effective in realizing this idea, they came up with the present invention.

Although not shown, the LEDs 14 are attached to the container body by fixing the LEDs 14 in the holding sockets together with the sockets inside the container body. In addition to the LED 14, a light bulb, a neon tube, a fluorescent tube, an optical fiber, etc. can also be used as the light emitting body. Moreover, various colors other than red can be selected for the color of the light emitter, and when a plurality of light emitters are provided, each light emitter may have a different color. Furthermore, the brightness can be changed for each light emitting body. As for the arrangement of the light emitters, in addition to the horizontal line shown in FIG. 1, an infinite number of arrangement patterns are conceivable. As an example, the LEDs 14 may be arranged in a curved manner as shown in FIG. It is also possible to express characters and figures using the other LEDs 14.

26 is a power source, and various power sources can be used, such as dry batteries, storage batteries, solar cells, and a power source obtained by transforming a commercial power source. In the case of this embodiment, the light emitting means is LED14...
An electric circuit for emitting light is also housed within the container body 10. In other words, as the power source 26, a small device such as a dry battery is used. If all the parts that make up the sample container are housed in the container body 10, there will be no need for wiring work when displaying the sample container, and it will be convenient and easy to handle even for store owners who do not have electrical knowledge. be. A switch for the power source 26 may be provided on the back surface of the container body 10 or the like.

In the circuit 20 of FIG. 5, an example is given in which one LED 14... is selectively and sequentially lit, but if there are multiple light emitters, the lighting or blinking pattern may be arbitrary or random. can be done. In that case, it is also possible to control lighting or blinking of the light emitter using a microcomputer.

In the above embodiments, examples were mainly given in which LEDs 4... were used as the light emitters, but the light emitting area of the LEDs 14... was small. For example, if you want the label 12 part to shine widely, make the label 12 part transparent or semi-transparent, print the label 12 there, and make a light emitting body such as a light bulb emit light inside the container body 10. Light may be emitted outward from the label 12 portion. Alternatively, several optical fibers may be extended from the container body 10 as light emitters, and light from a light source serving as a light emitting means within the container body 10 may be emitted from the tip of the optical fibers.

Various preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, but the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments. For example, the shape of the container body is not the shape of a beer can, but a bottle, a box, etc. It goes without saying that many modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention, such as by making appropriate selections depending on the container of the product to be employed.
