た始動電動機においてピニオン移動体が前方へ摺
動した状態を示す断面図、第４図は第２図に示さ
れる従来の始動電動機におけるオイルシール部を
示す断面図である。
１……前部機枠、２……開口部、３……出力回
転軸、４……ピニオン移動体、４ａ……ピニオン
部、４ｂ……摺動支持面、２０……始動電動機、
２２……筒状部、２４……ホルダ。なお、各図中
同一符号は同一部分又は相当する部分を示す。

前記ピニオン移動体の前記摺動支持面に該ピニオ
ン移動体が静止位置にあるとき前記筒状部の先端
面に近接して取付けられた被い部材とを含んでな
