Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably select the coin without considering a fitting state and a fitting place to an automatic vending machine by providing a metallic plate in the vicinity of the outside of a discriminating sensor placed on both sides for placing a coin passage between. CONSTITUTION:When a distance between a discriminating sensor 4 and a metallic plate 16, and a distance between the discriminating sensor 4 and an automatic vending machine are denoted as d3 and d1, respectively, they are in a position relation of d1>>d3 (d1 is larger enough than d3). Accordingly, the discriminating sensor 4 is influenced by only the metallic plate 16 provided in the vicinity. In such a state, by providing the metallic state 16, and setting the state that impedance of a sensor coil is varied a little as the beginning, a correct coin range is set by a single coin selecting device, based on the variance of thrown-in coin data. In such a way, the influence by the iron plate 15 of the automatic vending machine becomes a disregardable value.

The operation of the coin sorting device constructed as described above will be explained below. In FIG. 5, when a coin is inserted through the input slot 2, an identification sensor identifies genuine coins, counterfeit coins, and denominations while passing through the coin passage 3, and a control circuit is activated according to the identification results. The gate plate 5 is controlled in the section 1l, and genuine coins and counterfeit coins are sorted out. Next, the coins identified as genuine coins are sorted by denomination in the next sorting lehar 6, and guided to the corresponding outlet 8 or 9, respectively. The identification sensor 4 uses a magnetic sensor and consists of three types: material detection, material thickness detection, and outer shape detection, and each sensor is used alone or in combination to form an oscillation circuit as an oscillation coil. When a coin passes through the coin path 3 and the identification sensor 4, the impedance of the oscillation coil changes, and the oscillation frequency and oscillation voltage of the oscillation circuit change accordingly. Since this amount of change differs depending on the fa type of the coin, it is possible to sort out the coins. In addition, the specie range is set for each detection sensor 4 based on the amount of voltage change (inserted coin data) when the characteristics of the coin are extracted, and in consideration of the haranki of the coin, temperature change, etc.
It was used to determine which denomination the inserted coin corresponded to.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the coin sorting device and the vending machine equipped with it,
Due to recent slimming, vending machines 20
As the width d2 of the vending machine 20 becomes smaller, the distance #d1 between the identification sensor 4 and the internal partition iron plate l5 of the vending machine 20 becomes smaller.

Therefore, in such a conventional configuration, even if the coin sorting device independently sets the specie range based on input coin data, when this device is attached to the vending machine 20, the identification sensor 4 detects the iron plate l5 of the vending machine 20. Due to this effect, the impedance of the magnetic sensor coil changes, and the coin data of the inserted coin of the same denomination changes compared to the input coin data for which the specie range was set, making it impossible to correctly identify the coin. There was a problem.

Effect With this configuration, when setting the specie range based on the input coin data using the coin sorting device alone, the setting is performed under the influence of the metal plate installed inside the coin sorting device in advance. From now on, no matter what condition it is attached to the vending machine, it will no longer be affected by the iron plate etc. due to the attachment condition of the vending machine.

FIG. 1 is a diagram of an identification sensor section according to an embodiment of the present invention, showing the same location as the AA' cross section in FIG. 5(a). In FIG. 1, numeral 3 is a coin passage made up of resin-molded members 18 and 19.
An identification sensor 4 is disposed at 9 across the coin passage 3. Further, a convex wall 21 is integrally formed on the side of this member 19 so as to cover the identification sensor 4. A lid portion 22 is attached to this convex wall 2l, and a metal plate 16 with a thickness of approximately 0.41 mm is attached to the identification sensor 4 side of this lid portion 22 with double-sided tape. The outer shape of this metal plate 16 is
It is slightly smaller than 2. The other member 18 is provided with an identification sensor 4 and a control circuit section 11 mounted with electronic components 12 including a microcomputer and the like at a position facing the coin path 3, and both are connected by a cable 10.

When a coin arrives in the coin passage 3, the impedance of the coil of the identification sensor 4 changes. This amount of change shows a specific value depending on the vI class of the coin. This amount of change is guided to the control circuit section 11 via the cable 0, which discriminates between genuine coins, counterfeit coins, denominations, etc., and controls the gate plate 5 as described in the conventional example. The identification sensor 4 includes magnetic sensors for detecting material, material thickness, and outer shape, either singly or in combination, to form an oscillation circuit as an oscillation coil. Therefore, when a metal plate approaches the vicinity of this oscillation coil, the impedance of the coil changes. Taking the material sensor, which is one of the identification sensors, as an example, as shown in Fig. 3(a), in the conventional coin sorting device, the center value of the input coin data is 100, and the Harakki distribution of the coin etc. Based on the coin sorting device, the specie range is set by the coin sorting device alone, but when it is attached to a vending machine, the metal plate I

Therefore, by attaching the metal plate 16 and setting the state in which the impedance of the sensor coil changes slightly as an initial state, and setting the specie range using the coin sorting device alone based on the variation in input coin data, the effect of the iron plate 15 of the vending machine can be a negligible value. Figure 3 (Cl is the specie range setting for the coin sorting device alone in this embodiment, and the center value of the input coin data is 90. Even if the iron plate 15 of the vending machine approaches this, Figure 3 (d) ), it can be seen that the input coin data is hardly affected.

As described above, according to this embodiment, by arranging the metal plate 16 near the outside of the filtration sensors placed on both sides of the coin passage 3, the effect of the iron plate 15 of the vending machine can be eliminated. is obtained.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a metal plate is provided near the outside of the identification sensors placed on both sides of the coin passage of the coin sorting device, so that the coin sorting device alone can set the genuine coin range. Even when installed in a vending machine, stable coin sorting can be performed without considering the installation condition or installation location on the vending machine. Furthermore, when the coin sorting device is completed, it is only necessary to set the coin range independently, and there is no need to create the same condition in the manufacturing process as when it is installed in a vending machine, so it can contribute to the simplification of the manufacturing process. Furthermore, it is possible to eliminate external influences on the identification sensor easily and inexpensively.
