Patients who are unable to bathe or shower maintain their skin clean through wiping. There are two types of cleansing: full-body cleansing and partial cleansing; in both cases, gauze or a towel is wetted with hot water, wrung out, and rubbed on the skin surface.

In this way, preparation for wiping is difficult with the wiping means used by wetting gauze or a towel with hot water and wringing it out. Before cleaning, boil water, bring it to an appropriate temperature, say 40℃ to 45℃, in a bucket or basin, and bring it to the patient's side. There, soak a towel or the like in it, wring it out, and apply it to the patient's skin. However, especially in winter, when the temperature of the water drops significantly, it is necessary to rinse the towel several times. In addition, since continuous wiping is not possible due to repeated rinsing and wiping of towels, etc., not only does wiping take a long time, but during this time the patient is exposed to heat and cold. It is supposed to cause discomfort due to repeated exposure, embarrassment, coldness, etc. Furthermore, repeated rinsing and wiping with a towel or the like does not maintain the temperature of the skin surface constant, which causes the skin to be in a constant state, making it impossible to expect effective wiping.

The skin wiping device for bed patients of this invention constructed as described above can be used by filling the water tank with water and filling the auxiliary tank attached to the water tank with water or disinfectant, and then energizing the heater. The water in the water tank that is supplied dripping onto the heater in the evaporation chamber evaporates here in a short time and becomes pressurized steam, which is then jetted out from the jet hole. In this case, the liquid contained in the auxiliary tank is sucked by the absorption power of the flow of steam up to the nozzle, and is ejected from the nozzle in the partition wall together with the steam, and at the time of this ejection, the liquid is ejected from the air suction port. suck the air,
This will lower the temperature of the ejected steam. Therefore, when the patient's skin is applied to the opening surface of the septum and moved in the direction followed by the water-absorbing wiping member placed close to the opening surface, the ejected steam, liquid, and mixed air are removed. As a result, the skin surface is wetted while maintaining a constant temperature, making it easier to remove dirt from the skin surface, which is then wiped away by the following water-absorbing wiping member.

Next, the operation of the skin wiping device for bed patients constructed as described above will be explained. First, water stored in the water tank 3 drips from the dripping tube 16 onto the heater 7 in the evaporation chamber 8 and evaporates, is pressurized in the evaporation chamber 8, and then passes through the steam passage 22. It is led to a steam distribution chamber 10. On the other hand, a disinfectant such as isodine solution stored in the auxiliary tank 4 is passed through the steam passage 22.
Due to the suction effect when the pressure steam passes through the auxiliary tank 4, the pressure steam is sucked and mixed with the pressure steam through the suction passage 23 from the suction outlet 21 of the auxiliary tank 4, and is ejected from the numerous ejection holes 9 together with the steam. The temperature of the steam at the time of ejection is controlled by adjusting the opening degree of the air suction port 11 provided in the partition wall 12 using a slide plate 28. When steam starts to be ejected from the ejection hole 9, insert your hand into the hand insertion space 14, and place your hand between the open end surface of the partition wall 12 and the water-absorbing wiping member on the patient's wiping area, as if caressing the patient's skin surface. Touch the surface to which 2 is attached and move it. The ejected steam and disinfectant wet the skin surface of the patient in contact with it, so by wiping it with the water-absorbing wiping member 2, the skin surface can be cleaned.

In the above embodiment, a water-absorbing wiping member was provided adjacent to the opening surface of the partition wall from which steam is spouted, but the present invention is not limited to this. This also includes a configuration in which the wiping member is detachably attached. Further, the water-absorbing wiping member may be attached using double-sided tape.
