Claims (1)
ずつ設けられ、車体を支えるエアスプリングと、
各エアスプリングに夫々接続された補助エアタン
クと、互いに組をなすエアスプリングと補助タン
クとの間に設けられ、これらの間の連通を断続し
てエアスプリングのばね定数を可変する第1の弁
手段と、各補助エアタンクにエアを供給するエア
供給源と、エア供給源と各補助エアタンクとの間
に夫々設けられた第2の弁手段と、各補助エアタ
ンクないしはエアスプリング内のエア圧を検出し
て圧力信号を出力する圧力センサと、車体の各種
の運動姿勢を検出して、夫々の検出信号を出力す
るセンサ手段と、圧力センサからの圧力信号に基
づき、補助エアタンクないしはエアスプリングの
エア圧が所定のレベル以下の場合には、第1及び
第2の弁手段を開作動させて、各補助エアタンク
にエア供給源からエアを充填することにより各エ
アスプリング及びこれに対応する補助エアタンク
内のエア圧を所定のレベルに維持し、一方、各補
助エアタンクないしはエアスプリング内のエア圧
が所定のレベルにある場合にのみ、センサ手段か
らの検出信号を有効として、これらの検出信号に
基づき、各第1の弁手段を開閉作動させる制御信
号を出力して各エアスプリングのばね定数を制御
する電子コントローラとを具備したことを特徴と
する自動車の電子制御型エアサスペンシヨン装置
