Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the temperature of the tap hole rapidly when it drops temporarily by installing a sludge burner and an auxiliary burner at positions that are lower than the center of the height of the furnace and at the same time mounting one or two of those two burners on a rotating body which rotates round a shaft which penetrates the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A sludge burner 4 and an auxiliary burner 5 are both provided lower than the center of the height of the main body 1, and object to be burned which are led to the sludge burner 4 are jetted out towardS the circumferential wall of the inside of the main body 1 with the fuel from the auxiliary burner 5 and they burn in rotation. Here, if there is a variation in the quantity of supply or ingredients of the objects to be burned, the temperature of a tap hole 3 falls temporarily. When this temperature fall is detected by a thermocouple or a radiation pyrometer, an electric motor 54 is driven and a rotating body 52 rotates round a penetrating shaft of the furnace wall anticlockwise in the angular range theta, and the position of the burner 50 of the auxiliary burner 5 moves. On the extension of the line through the burner 50 a tap hole 3 sits, so that the fuel is jetted out from the auxiliary burner 5 towards the area near the tap hole 3. Then the tap hole 3 is heated by the combustion of the fuel from the burner 50 and the tap hole temperature rapidly returns to its initial temperature. When the temperature of the tap hole 3 is recovered, the auxiliary burner 5 returns to its normal position.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventionally, when the temperature at the taphole drops due to such causes, the temperature has been raised by increasing the amount of auxiliary combustion in the auxiliary combustion burner provided near the taphole. I was worried. However, since the secondary combustion burner is originally intended for combustion and discharges fuel toward the furnace wall or core, the temperature rise at the outlet is often delayed. In particular, if the auxiliary combustion burner is installed far away from the tap, it takes time to heat the tap, and the solidification of the slag progresses, leading to blockage. Further, when the amount of auxiliary combustion in the auxiliary combustion burner is increased, there is a problem in that extra fuel for raising the temperature of the outlet is used up.

[Function] When the temperature at the tap drop temporarily decreases due to fluctuations in the amount of raw materials supplied or the components, the temperature detection radiation thermometer detects the drop in temperature at the tap. When a drop in temperature at the tap outlet is detected, the electric motor is driven to rotate the rotating body to which the auxiliary burner is attached, and the nozzle moves downward. Then, fuel is ejected from the auxiliary combustion burner toward the vicinity of the outlet, and the outlet is heated by combustion and quickly returns to its original temperature. When the temperature at the tap hole returns to normal, the electric motor rotates the rotating body in the opposite direction and the auxiliary burner returns to its normal injection position.

In FIG. 1, 1 is the main body of the melting furnace. The main body 1 has a vertical cylindrical shape, and the upper and lower parts thereof are formed with a combustion gas outlet 2 and a slag outlet 3 having a diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the furnace. 4 and 5 are a sludge burner and an auxiliary combustion burner, both of which are provided below the center of the furnace height of the main body 1. In particular, the auxiliary combustion burner 5 is located lower than the sludge burner 4 and closer to the slag outlet 3. Further, the mounting angles in the horizontal direction of the sludge burner 4 and the auxiliary combustion burner 5 are both set away from the reactor core and closer to the peripheral wall. The sludge burner 4 is on the outside, and the auxiliary combustion burner 5 is configured to eject fuel and the like closer to the reactor core, so that different swirling flows are generated within the reactor. In addition, the auxiliary combustion burner 5 is attached to the main body 1 on a rotary body that is provided on the furnace wall and rotates, so that its position can be moved up and down.

When the electric motor 54 is driven, as shown in FIG. 3, the rotating body 52 rotates within an angular range of θ around the through-axis O-O that intersects the furnace wall, so that the position of the burner 50 is displaced by L. It has become.

In advance, waste such as sludge is crushed in a crushing dryer and dried to a predetermined moisture content, and then guided to the sludge burner 4 as a material to be combusted by conveying air. The combustible material led to the sludge burner 4 is ejected together with the fuel of the auxiliary combustion burner 5 toward the inner circumferential wall of the main body 1 of the melting furnace, and is swirled and burned within the furnace.

Due to the strong centrifugal force associated with swirling combustion, the materials to be burned are melted into slag and trapped on the furnace wall. It is captured and flows out from the tap 3 along the furnace wall. The slag that flows out is cooled and solidified,
The slag is sent to a slag separation section (not shown) and discharged from a discharge section. Further, the combustion gas is discharged through an exhaust port 2 provided at the upper part of the main body 1.

Here, if there is a disturbance such as a change in the supply amount or component of the material to be combusted, the temperature of the outlet 3 will temporarily decrease due to this disturbance. The temperature drop at the tap 3 is detected by a temperature detection thermocouple or a radiation thermometer, and the electric motor 54 is driven to transmit rotational force to the rotating body 52 via the gear train 53. Then, the rotating body 52 rotates θ around the through axis OO intersecting the furnace wall.
The position of the burner 50 of the auxiliary burner 5 moves by a distance L by rotating in the counterclockwise direction (FIG. 3). On the extension line of the burner 50 that has moved the distance L, the tap outlet 3 whose temperature has been temporarily lowered as described above faces.

As a result, fuel is ejected from the auxiliary combustion burner 5 toward the vicinity of the tap 3, and due to its combustion, the tap 3 is heated and quickly returns to its original temperature. When the temperature of the outlet 3 returns to the original temperature, the rotating body 52 is rotated in the opposite direction by the electric motor 54, and the auxiliary burner 5 is restored to its normal mounting position.

In addition, although the above-mentioned Example illustrated and demonstrated the case where the sludge burner 4 and the auxiliary combustion burner 5 are single, a plurality may be provided radially on the furnace wall, and may be configured in multiple stages. In addition, although the auxiliary combustion burner 5 was attached to the rotating body 52 so as to be rotatable,
It may be on the k-burner 4 side, or both may be configured to be rotatable. Further, although the rotating body 52 is rotated by the electric motor 54 to move the auxiliary combustion burner 5, an electromagnet or a fluid cylinder using fluid pressure may be used.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention is characterized in that the sludge burner and the auxiliary combustion burner are installed on the furnace wall lower than the center of the furnace height, and the sludge burner and/or the auxiliary combustion burner are rotated around an axis passing through the furnace wall. The burner of the melting furnace was constructed by attaching it to the body and moving the burner.

As a result, unlike in conventional melting furnaces, even when the temperature at the tap drop decreases due to fluctuations in the supply amount or composition of materials to be combusted, the amount of auxiliary combustion in the auxiliary combustion burner installed near the tap can be increased. Does not raise temperature. Therefore, there is no delay in the temperature rise at the tap outlet, and there is no need to increase the amount of auxiliary combustion in the auxiliary combustion burner, thereby consuming excess fuel.

Therefore, it is possible to provide a burner for a melting furnace that does not cause blockage due to solidification of slag cooled due to a drop in temperature at the tap outlet.
