る。又桁上げ機構の従来例として特開昭48−
81610にラツクと桁上げカムを使用した装置が記
載されているが活字の選択が非常に複雑であり、
又印字機構も活字ヘツド自体をフレーム間に装架
したタブにより揺動させる構造である為装置が複
雑で大型化している。現在印刷装置を搭載した電
卓は小型、軽量化が要望されているが前記装置の
ようにキヤリジの形状が大きくて複雑なもの更に
は選択印字機構が複雑なものでは小型、軽量化は
極めて困難であつた。

れた活字部材と、キヤリツジに保持され活字を押
圧して印刷紙に印字するハンマ部材と、印字軸の
回転に伴い回転されハンマ部材が駆動されるカム
リードが設けられた印字カムと、キヤリツジに桁
方向の位置が規制され、前記した歯と係合するカ
ムリードが設けられ、印字軸に回転不能に支持さ
