緑化策を採る場合、法面Bを覆うネツトAは未硬
化の緑化剤を保持することにも役立つている。

エクシヨン成形することによつて形成できる。こ
こで、横糸2の厚みHの具体的な寸法は10mm程度
以上あれば十分である。即ち、上記緑化剤の吹き
付けは、通常、10mm以下の層厚になるように行わ
れ、法面の緑化のためには緑化剤をその程度の層
厚に吹き付けておけば十分だからである。他方、
上記厚みHを無制限に厚くすることは材料の無駄
になり、価格の高騰を招くから、その上限を30mm
程度に抑えることが望まれる。また、横糸2の肉
厚tは、該横糸2の変形によつてネツトAの網目
があまり変形しない程度に設定することが望まし
い。具体的には、その厚みtを0.5〜1mm程度に
すればよい。さらに、網目を構成する格子の大き
さは、2cm角乃至10cm角程度にしておけばよい。
格子の大きさが2cm角より小さいと、法面の補強
効果が十分に発揮されず、また、緑化剤がその網
目内に入つても法面に対して植物種子が根付きに
くくなる難点がある。一方、格子の大きさが10cm
より大きいときには網目の形状が変形しやすくな
る。なお、上述した横糸2の厚みH及び肉厚t、
並びに格子の大きさは例示であり、これらの寸法
は、法面の土質や緑化剤の成分に応じて適切なも
のに種々変更されるべきである。

土砂の流出等を防止するのみならず、法面の緑化
を促進する意味においても大きな実用的価値があ
る。
