より被走査体を走査するとともに、前記光偏向器
により偏向された同期用光ビームを格子に入射し
、該格子を通過した前記同期用光ビームを透明ロ
ツドにより集光し、光検出器で検出することによ
り、前記被走査体上の走査用光ビームの走査方向
の位置検出を行なう光ビーム走査装置において、 前記透明ロツドを格子に沿う長手方向にその断
面積が漸増または漸減するテーパー形状とし、前
記透明ロツドの両端面のうち前記断面積の小さい
側に全反射ミラーを配置し、前記断面積の大きい
側に光検出器を配設したことを特徴とする光ビー
ム走査装置。
