Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent double printing by a method wherein a printing detecting part which detects a cutform having a printed state is provided, and next printing is made incapable of being executed until the printing detecting part and a cutform detecting part detect no presence of the curform. CONSTITUTION:A cutform 8 is set, and a cutform detecting part 12 detects whether the cutform 8 is set or not. Then, printing is performed with a printer head 7 while a feed roller is sending the cutform 8. At that time the cutform detecting part 12 detects no presence of the cutform 8. Further, a printing detecting part 10 detects the cutform 8, and recognizes that printing of the cutform 8 was executed. When printing is ended, the cutform 8 is discharged with the feed roller 11, and an initial set state comes. At that time the cutform detecting part 12 detects the cutform to be in a set state and further, the printing detecting part 10 detects that the cutform has been gone. Then, when the cutform 8 being in the printed set state is removed, the cutform detecting part 12 detects no presence of the cutform and thereafter, printing of a following cutform becomes capable of being executed for the first time.
