Detailed Description of the Invention: a Technical Field The present invention relates to a medical laser scalpel device that enables coagulation and incision of diseased tissue by bringing the tip of a rod member that irradiates power laser light into contact with the diseased tissue. In particular, when bleeding occurs in the affected tissue, the bleeding is removed by spraying air, and the spraying of distilled water, etc. is used to prevent burning material from adhering to the tip of the rod member. Regarding the air supply and water supply switching mechanism.

In this therapy, laser irradiation is performed by bringing the rod member into direct contact with the affected tissue, so the burnt material from the affected tissue inevitably adheres to the rod member in a sintered state, making it time-consuming to remove the adhesion, so it is difficult to prevent adhesion. Generally, a method of spraying distilled water onto the rod member is used.

However, the laser beam generator used in general laser scalpel devices is not equipped with an air supply mechanism for injecting gas such as air from the gap between the laser fiber of the laser scalpel device and the laser fiber protection pipe. However, there is no water supply mechanism, so in order to inject distilled water to the rod member, a part of the air supply mechanism must be improved and an air supply mechanism incorporated, and a water supply pump is also prepared. It was not easy to install.

In addition, as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-27551, an air supply connector of an air supply mechanism provided in a laser beam generator and an air supply connector provided at the proximal end of a laser fiber. During the air supply
A system has also been proposed in which a water supply switching mechanism is interposed and water or gas is selectively supplied to the air supply connector of the laser fiber by switching the mechanism. However, even with such a configuration, in order to send water from the air supply connector to the tip of the laser fiber, the gap between the protection pipe for protecting the laser fiber and the laser fiber is used, so once the distillation is carried out in the protection pipe. When water is passed through, the water comes into direct contact with the laser fibers, so water droplets inevitably remain between the fibers that make up the fiber bundle, which is inconvenient when switching to inject gas or air. In addition, there is a risk that bacteria may be transmitted and propagate through the remaining water, but as mentioned above, if water droplets remain inside the protective pipe for protecting the laser fiber, disinfection is difficult and extremely problematic. It was hot.

c. Purpose The present invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is possible to use the air supply for preventing dirt adhesion that is included in a general laser beam generator without providing a separate water supply pump. Using the air supplied by the mechanism, it is possible to supply water to prevent adhesion of the tip of the rod member, and when supplying water, water is not passed through the protective pipe for protecting the laser fiber, and the grip tube is closed. By passing water through the internal flow channel, it is easy to disinfect after use, and it is also possible to supply air for the purpose of blood removal.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a laser scalpel device that allows easy selection of air supply or water supply.

Further, in the grip tube 1, which is held by the operator's hand and where the operator's thumb is located, there is a connection between the protection pipe 4 and the first air supply path, or a connection between the protection pipe 4 and the area described below. A switching point 6 is provided as a blocking member that blocks communication with the second air supply path. This switching pot 6 is provided with a vent 11 as an opening for selectively ejecting the supplied air to the outside of the gripping portion. When the air supply indicator 7 or the water supply indicator 7' attached on the tube 1 is matched, air supply and water supply to the rod member 3 are switched.

f Effects of the Invention The laser scalpel device according to the present invention includes a laser fiber that transmits a power laser beam, a protective pipe into which the laser fiber is inserted with a certain gap, and air is supplied through this gap. , a laser scalpel device comprising a rod member optically coupled to the laser fiber and irradiating a power laser beam from the tip, and a gripping tube fixing the rod member and the protection pipe to the front and rear ends; a first air supply path that communicates with the protection pipe in the gripping tube and sends the gas sent from there to an external water tank; a second air supply passage that communicates with the protection pipe within the gripping cylinder and causes the gas to be blown out from the side of the rod member; and the first above
communication with the air supply path or the protection pipe and the second
Since a blocking member is provided to cut off communication with the air supply path, there is no need to use a separate water pump.
By using the air supply mechanism provided in conventional laser beam generators, water can be easily supplied to prevent adhesion of the rod member, and gas can be ejected from the side of the rod member during surgery. It is possible to eliminate residual blood, bleeding, etc., and it is also possible to easily select between water supply and air supply.
Furthermore, when feeding water, the water does not pass through the protective pipe for protecting the laser fiber, but instead passes through a flow channel in a separate grip cylinder, so there is no need to worry about water remaining in the protective pipe. To disinfect the inside of the device, it is sufficient to disinfect at least the flow channel and water tank, and disinfection after use can be performed very easily, so the effect is extremely large.

In addition, if the gas supplied to each air supply path is made to communicate with the opening for selectively ejecting it to the outside of the grip, the amount of outflow can be easily controlled using the fingers of the hand gripping the grip tube.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A laser fiber that transmits a power laser beam, a protection pipe into which the laser fiber is inserted with a certain gap, and through which air is supplied, and the laser fiber is A laser scalpel device comprising a rod member that is optically coupled and irradiates a power laser beam from the tip, and a gripping tube that fixes the rod member and the protection pipe at the front and rear ends. A first air supply path that communicates with the protection pipe and sends the gas sent from there to an external water tank, and a rod member that guides the water that flows out under the pressure of the gas sent into the water tank into the gripping cylinder. a second air supply passage that communicates with the protection pipe in the gripping cylinder and causes the gas to be blown out from the side of the rod member; A laser scalpel device comprising a blocking member for blocking communication with an air supply path or communication between the protection pipe and the second air supply path. 2. The laser scalpel device according to claim 1, wherein each of the air supply paths communicates with an opening through which the supplied gas is selectively ejected to the outside of the grip tube. 3 The above-mentioned blocking member is configured to
