(Prior art) As is well known, observation, inspection, judgment, etc. inside a living body cavity, etc.
Endoscopes, which are used not only for diagnosis but also for treatment, are equipped with various parts that are directly necessary for them, as well as various auxiliary parts that are necessary for the functions of these parts to be completed. One of them is a channel for forming a nonflammable gas passage used for supplying nonflammable gas.

By the way, this channel for forming a nonflammable gas passage is achieved by introducing a high-frequency treatment instrument through a forceps channel built into the endoscope body with an insertion section inserted into a body cavity, etc., and applying high-frequency waves to the affected area in the body cavity. When performing treatment with methane gas, flammable gas such as methane gas accumulated in the body cavity should be replaced with non-flammable gas and used only to prevent unexpected accidents, and the pumping pressure of this non-flammable gas should be Partly because it is relatively expensive,
In many cases, this was installed alone, and was a major factor in reducing the diameter of the insertion section.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) The invention does not stop at using this nonflammable gas only to replace combustible gas, but also focuses on the fact that the pumping pressure is relatively high. The nonflammable gas during the replacement operation can also be used to wipe away water droplets etc. adhering to the surface of the observation window lens installed and fixed at the tip of the insertion section of the endoscope body. At the same time, the present invention aims to provide an endoscope whose insertion portion can be made smaller in diameter.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the endoscope according to the present invention has an air/water supply switching valve arranged in the endoscope body and installed in the operation section. The base side is provided for connection to a water supply source through the tube, and the distal end is connected to a water supply nozzle that opens toward a lens for an observation window fixedly installed at the distal end of the endoscope body. The tip of the water supply channel is opened and communicated with the water supply channel part in the operation unit, the base side is provided for connection to a nonflammable gas supply source, and an on-off valve and a check valve are provided along the flow path direction of the nonflammable gas. The present invention is characterized in that a channel for forming a nonflammable gas flow path formed by arranging valves in this order is also provided inside.

(Function) In other words, the insertion section of the endoscope main body of this type of endoscope is inserted into the living body cavity, and air/water supply and suction operations are repeated as needed to remove the affected area within the body cavity. When performing treatments and treatments using high-frequency treatment instruments based on the results of observations, tests, and diagnoses, etc.,
Appropriate treatment must be taken while constantly observing the operation unit through the eyepiece, so the observation must be quick, short, and accurate. Also, in order to prevent unexpected accidents, the observation must be done quickly and accurately. It is necessary to replace the flammable gas that has accumulated inside with non-flammable gas.

The endoscope according to the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and is suitable for air and water supply when performing treatments and treatments using a high-frequency treatment instrument such as an electric scalpel using a so-called forceps channel. The water supply operation using the switching valve is stopped, and while performing a suction operation using a forceps channel, etc., the on-off valve installed in the channel for forming a nonflammable gas passage is operated. If the gas is ejected from the water nozzle, the water droplets and body fluids that would otherwise accumulate on the surface of the observation window lens installed and fixed at the tip of the insertion tube will be removed. Unlike when using air, the gas is quickly wiped away in an extremely short period of time, allowing accurate observation images to be obtained, and at the same time replacing the flammable gas that had accumulated within the body cavity. Furthermore, by making the communication opening of the channel for forming a nonflammable gas flow path to the water supply channel part inside the operation part, water droplets remaining in the water supply channel after water supply can be removed with nonflammable gas. , Water droplets remaining in the water channel during observation will not drip onto the observation window and interfere with observation.

The endoscope of the present invention has the above-described configuration, and, like conventional endoscopes of this type, the insertion section 2 is inserted into a living body cavity, etc., and the endoscope is attached to the operation section 1. Operate the knob or the like to bend the curved tube in the desired direction, repeat the suction operation and air/water supply as necessary to observe, inspect, and diagnose the inside of the body cavity etc. through the eyepiece 5. Of course, it can be used for photographing, etc., but in particular, it can be used to insert a high-frequency treatment instrument into the forceps channel through the forceps introduction port provided in the operation section 1, and to treat and treat affected areas in the body cavity. When replacing flammable gas accumulated in the body cavity with non-flammable gas, which is often necessary for 44 against the bias of the spring 43 to connect the nonflammable gas cylinder D and the water channel 10 through the channel 40 for forming a nonflammable gas passage, the nonflammable gas is transferred to the lens for forming the observation optical system. The water is ejected from the water supply nozzle 11 which is opened toward the lens 6 and the window, and gas is replaced with the help of the continuous suction operation. Adhering water droplets, body fluids, etc. are wiped away extremely quickly, making it possible to accurately and clearly transmit an image to the eyepiece section 5.

In the above embodiment, in order to simplify the explanation, the air channel 20 is separated from the water channel 10, and they are connected to the water nozzle 11 which is fixedly opened to the distal end 3 of the insertion section 2. The air supply channel 20 is connected to the air supply nozzle 21, but as with the conventional one, a check valve is provided in the air supply channel 20.
Similar to the channel 40 for forming a nonflammable gas passage shown in the figure, if the water supply channel 10 is made to have a connecting opening within the operating section 1, it becomes much easier to reduce the diameter of the insertion section 2 than in the illustrated embodiment.

(Effects of the device) As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, when treating or treating an affected area in a body cavity with a high-frequency treatment instrument, flammable In addition to replacing the flammable gas with a non-flammable gas, the relatively high-pressure non-flammable gas ejected during this replacement process can be used to quickly remove cleaning water droplets, body fluids, etc. that have adhered to observation optical lenses, etc. As a result, accurate observation images can be obtained quickly, and it has become possible to provide an endoscope that can safely perform appropriate treatments and treatments using high-frequency treatment instruments in an extremely short period of time.
