At night, some devices are illuminated from the back and display using transmitted light. Some of these sign panels had designs formed on milky white acrylic plates using screen printing or spray painting combined with masking. However, although sign panels made of acrylic sheets have excellent workability, they are weak against impact and easily break. In addition, acrylic plates expand and contract significantly due to heat and have a large weight per unit area, making it difficult to increase the size of sign panels. Furthermore, since acrylic is flammable, it is difficult to say that it is suitable as a material for sign panels. Therefore, in order to compensate for these drawbacks, a sheet for a sign panel is made by impregnating or coating a fiber base fabric with a thermoplastic resin, and the sheet is attached to a frame and used as a sign panel.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems, and to provide a method for manufacturing a sheet for a sign panel, which can express minute designs using both reflected light and transmitted light.

The design layer was formed using a transfer material. Furthermore, the transfer material may include a milky white resin layer. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing an embodiment of the method for manufacturing a sign panel sheet of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of a transfer material used for manufacturing a sign panel sheet. 1 is a base sheet, 2 is a base fabric, 3 is an elastomer layer, 4 is a transfer material, 5 is a base film, 6 is a release layer, 7
8 indicates a pattern layer, 8 indicates an adhesive layer, and 9 indicates a milky white resin layer. First, a base sheet 1 is prepared. The base sheet 1 includes a base fabric 2 and an elastomer layer 3 formed on at least one side thereof. As the base fabric 2, organic fibers, inorganic fibers, etc. are used. As the elastomer layer 3, urethane-based, vinyl chloride-based,
It is preferable to use a resin elastomer such as a fluorine-based or epoxy-based resin. Also, in order to make the base sheet 1 milky white and have light diffusing properties, a mixture of silica, mica, aluminum hydroxide, etc. is used. You can. An elastomer having such a composition is impregnated or applied to the base fabric 2, and is formed on one or both sides of the base fabric 2. Also, a transfer material 4 is prepared. The transfer material 4 has a pattern layer 7 made of ink containing a translucent or fluorescent coloring material formed on a base film 5 having releasability. As the base film 5, a plastic film such as polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, nylon, etc. is used. In order to impart releasability to the base film 5, a release agent such as wax or silicone may be applied, and a release layer 6 may be formed on the base film 5. It is preferable to use an ink made of resin such as resin, cellulose, or vinyl. The zero pattern layer 7 forming the pattern layer 7 thereon is formed by a printing method using transparent or fluorescent ink used for boat fishing. Suitable printing methods include offset printing, gravure printing, and screen printing. Furthermore, in order to better adhere to the base film 5, an adhesive layer 8 may be formed as necessary.
is preferably formed with ink made of resin such as acrylic, styrene, or vinyl resin. Also, instead of making the base sheet 1 milky white in order to have light diffusivity, it is preferable to use ink on the transfer material 4 side. A milky white resin layer 9 may be formed in advance and transferred together with the pattern layer 7 (see FIG. 2). Furthermore, each layer formed on the transfer material 4 has elastomer properties. Next, a pattern is formed on the base sheet 1 using the transfer material 4. First, the transfer material 4 having the above-described layer structure is superimposed on the base sheet 1, and then pressed with a thermal image such as heated rubber or the like, or by rolling a heated roller while rotating. Finally, when the base film 5 of the transfer material 4 is peeled off, separation occurs between the base film 5 and the pattern layer 7, and the pattern layer 7 of the transfer material 4 remains on the base sheet 1 side and the pattern layer 7 is transferred. be done. In this way, the pattern layer 7 is formed on the sign panel sheet.

A transfer material was obtained by applying a transparent ink as described above and further providing an adhesive layer on the entire surface. Further, a base sheet was obtained by using ester cloth as a base fabric and impregnating the base fabric with a milky white vinyl chloride resin in which silica and mica were dispersed. Next, the transfer material and the base sheet were superimposed and pressed together while being rolled with a rubber roller heated to 220°C, and then the polyethylene terephthalate film was peeled off and the pattern layer was transferred to complete a sign panel sheet. When the sign panel sheet obtained in this way was assembled into a frame and a fluorescent light was placed on the back side to form a sign panel, even the minute details of the design could be clearly expressed.
