前者の連結環は、第5図に示したように、スプ
リング矢金の筒形内に挿入し得る円筒状の胴部の
円周上端より逆U字形に屈曲した鉤部を有する構
成のものであり、鉤部の屈曲下垂部先端に内方に
向かつて突出した舌片と、これと対向する鉤部の
立ち上がり部において舌片と対向するやや上部に
舌片に向かつて突出する突片を備えている。しか
しながら、この構成では、舌片及び突片を有して
いるにも拘らず、上下運動の作業中鉤部が綜絖の
穴から抜けるおそれがあり、上下運動に要する張
力も鉤部の立ち上がり側一本に掛かるため、鉤部
の疲労による切損も懸念されていた。
