Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a sense of displeasure given to an operator and the acquisition of an undersired line by restoring forcibly the line when a fault takes place in a power supply of a facsimile equipment during facsimile reception. CONSTITUTION:When a power failure such as interruption of power supply of a facsimile equipment 40 or a power output decrease to a level at which the equipment 40 is not normally operated takes place, the abnormality in a power unit is detected by a power supply output detector 34 via a FAX interface 33 and the result is informed to control section 32. The control section 32 uses a signal generator 35 to generate a hook-on signal, a signal transmission means 32a sends a hook-on signal to the radio equipment 10 via an automobile telephone interface 31 to interrupt the line forcibly. Thus, the flowing of the facsimile signal from an opposite party to a handset 20 or the like is avoided and the sense of displeasure is not given to the operator and the acquisition of the undersired line is avoided.

The present invention is directed to a car phone control device that switches the line of a car phone radio device from a handset to a facsimile device to perform facsimile communication, and is designed to prevent the facsimile IJ device from turning off the power or making the device inoperable. Detects a power supply abnormality in which the power output drops to
By sending a hook-on signal to the car telephone radio device to forcibly disconnect the line, and also transmitting a dial tone if the handset is hook-off at that time, it is possible to prevent facsimile signals from the other party in the event of a power failure of the facsimile machine. This prevents operators from feeling uncomfortable and from unnecessary line capture.

In the above-mentioned conventional car phone control device 30, when controlling the line at the end of facsimile communication to the car phone, the handset 20 is hooked off, that is, the handset 20 is kept in the up position to receive a facsimile or to send a facsimile using a hands-free car phone. If the facsimile device 40 is powered off during facsimile reception or the power output drops to a level where facsimile communication cannot operate stably, the line connected to the facsimile device 40 is switched to the handset 20 side. Just by switching, the line is not disconnected, and the facsimile signal from the other party flows to the handset or handfree beaker and continues until the other party's facsimile device 40 finishes transmitting, causing discomfort to the operator or unnecessary line capture. There were drawbacks.
