Claims (1)
側を吐出側とし、その内部に排気ガス浄化用の触
媒を配置し上記吸込側から上記吐出側へ排気ガス
を流通させるコンバータ容器と、このコンバータ
容器の外側を覆い上記コンバータ容器との間に、
上記コンバータ容器と熱伝的に隣合つた排気ガス
再循環路を形成し、上記コンバータ容器から吐出
された排気ガスを上記排気ガス再循環路に流通さ
せたのち、上記コンバータ容器の吐出側と略一致
する方向へ上記排気ガスを吐出する排気ガス再循
環部材とを具備した触媒コンバータ。 (2) 上記排気ガス再循環部材に、上記コンバー
タ容器の上記吐出側に対向する部位に配置される
とともに、選択的に開閉自在に設けられ、開いて
いる時に、上記コンバータ容器から吐出された排
気ガスを通過させ上記コンバータ容器の上記吐出
側と略一致する方向へ吐出するとともに、閉じて
いる時に、上記排気ガスを上記排気ガス循環路に
流通させる弁手段を設けたことを特徴とする請求
