Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 北海道等の寒冷地においては、冬期間の水道水
の凍結防止のため、水抜栓が考案された。ところ
が給湯設備の増加に伴い鳥居型の配管が行われる
ようになり、この結果凍結が起こるようになつ
た。

鳥居型配管とは第1図に示すように、給水管1

この場合、管内の圧力が大気圧よりも小となると
排水が充分に行われず、凍結の原因となることが
あつた。この問題を解決するために管のどこかに
吸気弁を設け、管内の負圧状態を解消することが
考案された。しかしながら吸気弁については一長
一短であり、吸気弁の一部に水が残留する構造も
あり、万全な吸気弁は未だに考案されていない。
本考案は以上の先行技術にかんがみ、凍結を招い
ても、容易に解氷をなし得る吸気弁を提供するこ
とを目的とする。
