Many panels made of metal sheets are used as interior and exterior wall materials for buildings. however,
This type of panel was only commercially available as a flat panel or simply embossed.
As a result, this type of panel lacked three-dimensionality, design, and weather resistance, and could only be manufactured as a flat panel with a cold decorative surface. Furthermore, in embossing, cracks occur in the coating film on the decorative surface, etc., and distortion also appears, which has the disadvantage of causing the panel itself to twist or warp.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks and meet the above-mentioned demands, the present invention processes a board material into an arbitrary uneven pattern, and then applies a decorative coating film, such as clear, to the surface of the board material to prevent cracks in the decorative coating film. prevent,
Easily produce a panel that prevents changes in the printed pattern and gives the panel sufficient three-dimensionality, design, and natural feel through embossed shading on the decorative surface and shading drawn in the printed pattern. We propose a device that can do this.

An embodiment of the panel manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of the above-mentioned apparatus, where 1 is a panel plate material delivery section, and an uncoiler 2 with a brake and a pinch roller 3 are equipped with a thin metal plate A (hereinafter simply referred to as plate material A), which is a panel plate material. Consisting of plate material A
This is to continuously feed the water to the next process.
Reference numeral 4 denotes a printing section, which is composed of a back-up roller 5 and a coating roller 6, and ink B consisting of one color or multiple colors is applied to the decorative surface of the plate material A, in this case, the entire surface.
Any pattern can be printed using any of the following methods: gravure printing, offset printing, screen printing, letterpress printing, and lithographic printing. Note that printing may be performed on the entire decorative surface or only on the convex surface. 7 is a device for applying transparent paint or color paint (hereinafter simply referred to as clear) C to the surface of the decorative surface when the ink B on the decorative surface is not dry; for example, a roll coater or a curtain floor. It consists of one of coater, spray, etc. 8 is a heating section consisting of a roller 9 and a heater 10, which is used to dry the ink B and clear C and also to convey the plate material A to the next process, and the heating temperature ranges from about 30 to 110 degrees Celsius. . 11 is an embossing machine with upper and lower rolls 12,
The outer peripheral surface of the plate 13 has male and female uneven patterns that engage with each other, and is configured to be supported under pressure according to the thickness of the plate material A, the depth of the unevenness, etc. be. 14 is a molding machine, for example, 10 stages, 20
The plate material A has a number of stages, such as 32 stages, and the plate material A is, for example,
It is intended to be formed into a roughly gutter shape. Further, the mechanism allows molding width to be either single width or double width. Note that the molding machine 14
Since it is formed into a gutter shape in order along the flower diagram from the entrance to the exit, distortion during embossing,
The deformation can be released along the width direction and the moving direction of the plate material A, and the residual distortion and deformation can be minimized. Reference numeral 15 denotes a cutting machine that is installed as required, and is either a flying cutter, a rotary type, a press type, or the like. 16 is a conveyor.

Next, the operation of the panel manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention will be explained. Now, as plate material A, a 0.27 mm thick primer steel plate (width 1000 mm) wound around a 1000 m bobbin was attached to uncoiler 2. In addition, as a type of ink B, water-based acrylic varnish (solid content
40%) and pigment, this is printed using a gravure printing machine, polyurethane resin is prepared as clear C, and the temperature of heating section 8 is set to 60°C.
It was set to Therefore, it is assumed that a panel D as shown in FIG. 2 is manufactured. First, the starting end of the plate material A is guided to the pinch roller 3, and then fed to the printing section 4. The printing section 4 prints ink B on the decorative surface of the board material A in a woodgrain pattern as shown in FIG. 3a. Next, as shown in FIG. 3b, clear C is applied to the decorative surface by the coating section 7 (roll coater) and fed to the heating section 8. In the heating section 8, the clear C is dried and hardened, and immediately fed to the embossing machine 11. In the embossing machine 11, clear C
While the sheet material A has not yet been cooled, an arbitrary pattern is applied to the entire width, a fixed value, or a portion of the sheet material A, as shown in FIG. 3c, for example, and the sheet material A is fed to the forming machine 14. The molding machine 14 molds the material into the cross-sectional shape shown in FIG. 2, and the strip-shaped panel D is continuously sent out from the exit of the molding machine 14, which is cut into a predetermined length by the cutting machine 15.
It is conveyed by a conveyor 16 to form a panel D.

Therefore, the decorative surface of Panel D manufactured in this way was subjected to a salt spray test (JIS-Z-2371,
1000 hours), no rust was observed at all. This is the result of Clear C's greatly improved wear resistance during embossing and molding. As a comparative example, when the decorative surface of plate material A without Clear C was tested in the same way, cracks were observed in the finished coating film in some areas during embossing, and cracks were observed in even more areas after molding. The salt spray test was poor as a result of deeper cracks. Furthermore, in the comparative example, the printed pattern on the decorative surface was directly exposed during embossing and molding, resulting in a lack of aesthetics, but in the example, this appearance did not occur. .

As described above, according to the panel manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention, an arbitrary pattern can be formed on the decorative surface of commercially available plate materials, for example, surface-treated steel plates such as color steel plates, primer steel plates, pre-coated plates, aluminum plates, copper plates, etc.
By printing in color or multicolor and then applying a finishing paint, such as a transparent clear coat, it is possible to produce panels that are vivid, have a rich shade and color feel, and are highly weather resistant. After printing on the board material, we emboss it at any depth and with any uneven pattern, which doubles the three-dimensional effect.Furthermore, since the printed pattern is covered with clear material, it does not shrink during embossing or molding. It is characterized by the ability to manufacture panels with excellent corrosion resistance and without stretching and seriously damaging the appearance. Since embossing can be applied only to the necessary width of the plate material, distortion and deformation of the plate material can be minimized. It is characterized by being formed into a gutter-like shape immediately after embossing, allowing strain and deformation caused by embossing to escape in the width and length directions, thereby suppressing dimensional deformation and unevenness due to residual strain.
