「実施例]
以下本発明を図示の実施例に基づいて詳述すると、この
芝刈り機は、ヘット部1と電源部2、グリップ部3、力
−1・部4で構成されたものとなっている。ヘッI・部
]は第2図に示すように、その上部内にモータlOを内
蔵し、下面側に回転刃1lか配されたも・のて、モータ
】0の出力軸に装着したビニオン〕2と、LI!1転刀
11の取{=J軸13に固着されたキア14とが噛み合
うことで、モータ10の回転か回転刃11に伝達される
ようになっている。取付軸13/\の回転刃11の収り

スリーブ15に押し付けることによってなされて3
いる。ぞして回転刃11の周部の上方側には上力ハー5

このヘツ1〜部1の上部側面と下部111リ面とに夫々
クリンフ゛部3とカー1・部4の各一端かっなかー・て

チハンドル3■とロック釦32とか配され、クリッフ゜
部3内にはスイッチ本体33が配されている。
またガード部4の他端側の内部には、フレーカ40か配
されている。
電源部2は充電式電池パックとして構成されており、グ
リップ部3及びカード部4の他端叫に連結されるものと
なっている。尚、ヘッ1・部1とグリップ部3及ひ力−
1一部4の外殻{1、二つ割りのハウジング7によって
一体に形或されている。
以上のように形成された芝刈り機は、グリップ部3を握
るととともに、ロックKJ32を押しつつスイッチハン
1・ル3lを操作ずることによって、モータ10に通電
させれは、モータ10によって回転刃11か回転駆動さ
れ、櫛状に形成されてい4
る上カハー5と下カバー6とにおける櫛歯間に入った芝
か回転刀11によって刈り収られる。
この時、重量物であるモータ10等の刃駆動手段を内蔵
するヘッド部]と、同しく重+!L物である電源部2と
の間にグリップ部3が付置して』3り、このために重心
がグリップ部3の近傍にあり、安定した状態で芝刈り作
業を行えるものであり、またグリップ部3より幅広に形
成されてグリッフ゜部3の下方に空間をおいて位置して
いるカード部4が、グリップ部3を握る手に刈芝や石等
が接触することを防ぐために、刈芝等で手を切ったりし
てしまうということもない。また、グリップ部3に内蔵
しているものかスイッチ関係たけとなっていることから
、ここでは押り易さ及び持ち易さを考一慮して、第3図
及び第71図から明らかなように、グリッフ゜部3は細
みに仕上げている。このように細くしたところで、カー
ド部4か補強として働くことから、強度的な問題を招く
ことはない。
第5図以下は、ヘッド部1に芝屑の飛散防止カバー8を
着脱自在とした例を示している。ヘッド部1の外周面に
沿って配される飛散防止カバー8は、その内周側の中央
部の突片81に挿通されてヘッド部1にわし込まれるね
