Traditionally, elderly patients who have difficulty walking due to femoral neck fractures, pre-injury low back pain, kyphosis of the spine, muscle weakness, rheumatism, etc., have been trained to autonomously assist with walking. Examples of walkers for functional recovery include an alternating-type walker (hereinafter, in this specification, an "alternating-type walker" refers to a walker that trains a disabled person to walk by alternately extending both lower limbs). There are things that can happen.

This alternating type walker usually has a U-shaped side frame with a weight support part for putting weight on the upper surfaces of the front and rear legs, and the front parts of the left and right side frames are connected by multiple connecting rods. A four-point support structure supported by a total of four leg rods, front and rear, left and right, provided on the lower surface of a frame that surrounds the front and left and right sides and leaves the rear open, and also the side frames on the left and right. One leg rod on the front side is provided at the center of the front of the lower surface of the approximately triangular frame body which is formed by narrowing down toward the front of the plane, and two leg rods on the left and right are provided facing each other at the rear. Some have a three-point support structure.

These alternating type walkers allow a person with a disability to either hold the weight support rods provided at the top of the frame in an upright position, or place their body into the upper body holder of the frame and support the weight on the left and right sides. Walking training was carried out by bending forward so as to hold the rod between the armpits and putting all of one's weight on the frame.

However, the above-mentioned conventional alternating type walker is difficult to handle if you are not used to it because the mobility of the walker determines the distance a person with a disability can carry with their upper limbs when carrying their weight. Along with this, the stride length becomes arbitrary, and it takes a lot of time to train until the gait becomes rhythmic and approaches walking with a cane. While independence from the disabled person is guaranteed, it also protects the caregiver. was needed.

Furthermore, among the conventional walkers mentioned above, those with casters have the advantage of being easy to use because the stride length can be arbitrarily determined. It had the disadvantage of not being able to keep up with the vessel and tipping over easily, and lacked stability. Furthermore, after being discharged from the hospital, depending on the situation at home, walking may become difficult if there are steps such as thresholds or edges of tatami mats on the walking surface, and an unreasonable load may be placed on the affected area. The person was unable to change direction in the direction he or she intended and was unable to walk smoothly.

The present invention was made to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology, and by adopting a technical means of installing a sliding stabilizing plate at least in front of the upper surface of the frame for weight bearing, it is possible to Later, especially in homes where there are many steps on the walking surface, such as thresholds, edges of tatami mats, and other steps, and there are no caregivers,
A sliding stabilizer plate can be slid stably on the walking surface by a person with a disability to walk smoothly, and it also makes direction changes and lateral movement easy and reliable. Compared to conventional walkers with casters, in which the casters are worn while walking, the casters prevent easy rotation under the casters, which prevents falls while walking, and are highly safe.Furthermore, the structure is simple and suitable for mass production. It is an object of the present invention to provide a walker which is low in cost due to low material costs, and is lightweight and easy to handle.

What is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 is the third embodiment of the present invention.
This is an embodiment, and in this embodiment, if the walking surface 12 is decoratively finished with vinyl or the like and the coefficient of friction with the sliding stabilizer plate 9 is large and it is difficult to slide, holes of an appropriately shaped shape are formed in the sliding stabilizer plate 9 as necessary. 9a, and the lower circumferential surface of the wheel 6a of the caster 6 is exposed through the hole 9a so that it can slightly contact the walking surface 12, so that the wheel 6 of the caster 6
By rotating in contact with the walking surface 12, the friction between the sliding stabilizer plate 9 and the walking surface 12 is reduced, the movement of the walker is smooth, and walking is facilitated.

Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, the sliding stabilizing plate 9 is attached only to the front of the frames 1, 1' rather than to the rear, but this is because there is a step 12a on the walking surface 12 during walking training. This is not intended only for sliding, but for changing direction, and if necessary, of course, the sliding stabilizer 9 can be attached directly to the rear casters 6, 6 or the two rear leg rods 2B, 2B. In this case, a person with a disease or disability can walk more stably than when walking by rotating the casters 6.

As mentioned above, the present invention adopts the technical means of installing a sliding stabilizer plate at least in front of the lower surface of the frame body for weight bearing, so that it is particularly easy to avoid thresholds, edges of tatami mats, and other steps on the walking surface. Compared to conventional walkers with casters, in which only multiple casters are attached to the underside of the frame and the wheels rotate to allow walking, even in homes where there is no helper, the sliding stabilizer is attached to the front. It prevents the casters from rotating easily and prevents falls when walking, and allows disabled people to slide the sliding stabilizer plate stably against the walking surface to walk smoothly and safely. By providing a stabilizing plate, direction changes and lateral movements can be easily and reliably performed.

In addition, this invention has a simple structure and is suitable for mass production, and the material cost is low, so the cost is low.
In addition, the frame is made of relatively thin metal pipes, making it lightweight, and the size can be easily adjusted to suit the elderly, children, and other disabled people, so it can be adjusted to suit the walking ability of disabled people. It becomes easier to select and handle.
