Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow plural times of the blood transfusion from a piece of blood bag and blood preservation by providing means which can asceptically make several times of the blood taking from the blood bag and the additional injection of a preserving liquid, transfusion agent and blood and means which allow the selective use of the blood bags by providing the blood bags with N-kinds of sizes. CONSTITUTION:After a rubber plug 6 at the front end of a blood taking out port 5 is disinfected with alcohol, an injector 7 is inserted and connected thereto. The inside cylinder of the injector 7 is pulled to suck the required volume of the blood into the injector 7. The injector 7 is removed upon ending of the suction and the rubber plug 6 at the front end of the blood taking out port 5 is disinfected with the alcohol. The aseptic taking of the blood and the transfusion thereof over several times from one piece of the blood bag are possible in such a manner. The drip transfusion by mounting a blood transfusion set 9 to a transfusion set taking port 8 is possible as well. The injection of the blood, the transfusion agent and the preserving liquid can be executed as well by using this novel route. The capacity of this multi-purpose blood bag is made into N-kinds so as to deal with large and small animals.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] This invention relates to a method for blood transfusion for animals. [Conventional technology] There are no blood bags specifically for animals, so there are only 200 blood bags available.
ml, and if the amount of blood transfused is small, there is no small volume blood bag to pass through it, so a transfusion device must be used, and it is impossible to store small volumes of blood, making it difficult to efficiently transfuse blood. There were considerable restrictions on implementation. In addition, securing blood for pumping is conventional. The recipient of the blood donation system raises the animal for blood donation and collects blood from the animal as needed for transfusion. There was no system for constantly supplying blood for transfusion, with only homemade whole blood products available.
In addition, in the clinical field, there was no technology to detect red blood cell type, so blood type was not detected. Blood transfusions were performed without consideration of the compatibility of melon liquid, or in circumstances where it was impossible to consider it. In such an environment, it seems that the mistaken concept that animal blood transfusions do not require consideration of blood type has become entrenched. This is a repeating vicious cycle of underdeveloped blood transfusion therapy. It is no exaggeration to say that the lack of development of blood transfusion therapy was due to the fact that although patients were aware of the techniques and effectiveness of blood transfusions, they found it difficult to carry out the procedures. Blood transfusion systems and blood products for animals are Pl-free. In the past, there was no system that could provide efficient and convenient blood transfusion. [Invention tries to solve! 1! Problem] The conventional technology described above is not exclusively for animals, and there is a lack of stock and supply of various types of blood products, so it has the disadvantage that it cannot be easily transfused to animals that require blood transfusion. [Means for Solving the Problems] The specific structure of the multipurpose blood bag to solve the above points is as shown in Figure 1. Blood collection tube 1

It consists of a blood transfusion set 9, and blood products for transfusion for animals include whole blood and red blood cell products as shown in Table 1. It consists of seven types: leukocyte M agents, platelet preparations, plasma, dried plasma, and cryoprecipitate.

By providing a new blood collection or injection route to conventional blood bags, multiple blood transfusions and blood storage from a single blood bag are now possible. Also. By providing N types of sizes for this bag. It can be used according to the size of the animal. By subdividing blood products, it is possible to select the blood products required for treatment. [Example] Next, this invention will be explained with reference to drawings and tables. Figure ffll shows an example of the invented multipurpose blood bag for animals, and Table 1 shows an overview of 41 types of blood products and their indications. First, in Figure 1! I! The instructions for using the multipurpose blood bag for IJ items are as follows. That is, to collect the blood bufffish, tie the mouse tube 1 loosely to make a loop. Close the blood collection tube 1 using the cosophyl 2 and remove the venous needle protector 3 by turning it. Skin. Thoroughly disinfect the puncture point with alcohol cotton and puncture the vein with the venous needle 4. After confirming that blood has entered blood collection tube 1, remove Coffel 2. Blood bag is intravenous needle 4
lower than the insertion point of the bag as much as possible, allowing blood to flow into the bag due to gravity. During blood sampling, gently invert the blood to mix it with the storage solution in the blood bag.
Collect a specified amount of blood. Li. Once the blood has been drawn, stop the gap between the intravenous needle 4 and the loop with the Coffel 2, tie the loop tightly and cut it. The blood in blood collection tube 1 is used for testing. After blood collection, mix by inverting the bag several more times.

Immediately store the blood in a refrigerator at 4-6°C unless it is to be used immediately after blood collection, and store it within 21 days. The blood supply is now complete. The following points are the parts that can be designed to meet the needs of animals. Blood collected and stored in a blood bag can be divided into small portions several times as needed for blood transfusion,
Moreover, we devised a way to ensure that the operation could be performed aseptically. That is, a new blood outlet 5 was created, and a rubber stopper 6 was installed at the tip of the opening 5 to allow for a tight seal. The actual blood extraction method is explained below. After wiping out the rubber stopper 6 at the tip of the blood outlet 5 with alcohol, insert the syringe 7 and connect. Pull the inner barrel of syringe 7 and inject the required amount of blood i! Aspirate into 37. After suction is completed, remove the syringe 7 and disinfect the rubber stopper 6 at the tip of the blood extraction port 5 with alcohol. In this way, blood can be aseptically collected multiple times from the blood bag of the t U and transfused. Furthermore, the direct transfusion safe 9 is attached to the blood transfusion set attachment port 8. This allows intravenous blood transfusions to be performed. This new route can also be used to treat blood and infusion preparations. It is also possible to inject a preservation solution. In addition. This multipurpose blood bag has a capacity of N types so that it can be used for large and small animals.

The actual use of formulated blood for transfusion is explained in Table 1. Whole blood transfusion if all of the blood is uniformly lost. Red blood cell transfusion is used to improve anemia without placing a burden on the circulation, and leukocyte blood transfusion is used to treat leukopenia or infection. Platelet transfusion and hypoproteinemia are used to stop thrombocytopenia and bleeding. Tragic. Transfusions of 5 units of blood or freeze-dried plasma are used to supply globulins, proteins, and coagulation factors for infectious diseases, and cryoprecivitate (coagulation factor 8 and fibrinogen ) blood transfusion. By having a wide variety of blood products in stock, it becomes possible to select the appropriate blood product for the disease.

The development of a multipurpose blood bag specifically for animals enables multiple blood transfusions and blood transfusions to multiple patients from one blood bag, and the use of stored blood for animals of all sizes.
This will also allow blood to be transported to other areas. Furthermore, by preparing multiple types of blood products, it becomes possible for the patient to select the blood product he or she needs. Based on the above points, compared to conventional methods, the implementation of blood transfusion therapy can be greatly simplified, leading to improvements in veterinary medicine.
