[産業上の利用分野]
本発明は各種表示素子、特にワードプロセッサパーソナ
ルコンピュータ、コンピュータ端末装置、または、テレ
ビ等の液晶表示パネル背面照光装置に間するものである
,
[従東の技術】
従来、円冑a’ yt.R IP.fi用した背百照光
装置は第1図にそのt411[1を示すような方式のも
のであった.
即ち、ランプハウス口内に収容された円筒状光源2の発
する光をそのまま直接正面表示パネルa上に照射される
と正面表示パネル3上の輝度の不均衡(輝度むら)を生
じるところから、これをある程度是正する手段として、
円碕状光R2と正画表示パネル3との間に網点模様のス
クリーン(ライティングカーテン)4を介在させるとい
うものであ る.
しかし、網点模様のスクリーンl1はその取付位置に高
い′M度が要求されることから作業上の困雅が伴う.
また、正面表示パネル3に照射される光を反射させる方
法を採っていることから光源から発生する光を効率よ<
fil用できない等の欠点がある.[問題を解決する
ための手段]
このような問題を解決するものとして、第2図に示す従
来のスクリーン4に代わり、ここでは円筒状光R2と正
面表示バネル3の間に於て屈析部に曲面加工を施した鋸
歯状起伏拡散板6を入れることにより、前記問題を解決
したものである.即ち、第3図に於で円買状光R2と正
而表示パネル3の間に光拡散板を鋸歯状起伏拡散板6に
し組み込み、円筒状′lt源2から光をIE面表示パネ
ル二}に効率よく昭射ざれるものである.
[本発明の実施例]
この発明の実施例を第3図に基づき説明する.図中の3
は正面表示パネルであり、この場合は乳白色のメタクリ
