Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a fired product of constant quality through prevention of the occurrence of a fluctuation in oxygen concentration and elimination of an influence exercised by exhaust gas by a method wherein by using a combustion heat source used for the interior of a furnace chamber forming a combustion chamber, the combustion chamber is partitioned away from a firing chamber by means of a partition wall to control atmosphere in the burning chamber. CONSTITUTION:A partition wall 6 by which a combustion chamber 4 and a firing chamber 5 are partitioned away from each other is formed in a tunnel shape by using a refractory material and arranged on a fire-resisting support member 8. A burner 7 is a combustion heat source, e.g. gas burner, oil burner, and arranged so that it performs combustion in a combustion chamber 4 set in a furnace chamber 2. As noted above, a combustion heat source 7 is used as a heat source to heat the furnace chamber 2, and the combustion chamber 4 and the firing chamber 5 for which the combustion heat source 7 is used are partitioned away from each other by the partition wall 6 to control atmosphere. Therefore, even when combustion operation of the combustion heat source 7 is fluctuated, interference with oxygen concentration in the firing chamber 5 is prevented from occurring. Further, it is preferable that gas in the combustion chamber 4 and gas in the firing chamber 5 are discharged through discharge passages 10 and 11 through different systems.

Detailed Description of the Invention <Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to a firing furnace used for firing ceramic products, in which a combustion heat source is used as the furnace chamber heating source, and the combustion chamber and the firing chamber are separated by a partition wall. By doing so, it is possible to prevent interference caused by the combustion operation of the combustion heat source, to obtain a fired product of constant quality, and to reduce thermal energy costs.

<Prior Art> Ceramics used in various electronic components and the like are obtained by firing a molded product of a mixture of a predetermined porcelain powder and an organic binder in a firing furnace. A firing chamber is provided in the furnace chamber of the firing furnace, and the article to be fired is fired under preset time and temperature conditions when passing through the firing chamber. As a heating method for the furnace chamber, a heating method that directly heats the furnace chamber using an electric heat source or a combustion heat source such as a burner is generally used.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, when an electric heat source is used as a heat source for the furnace chamber, the cost of thermal energy increases, leading to an increase in the cost of the product.

On the other hand, when using a combustion heat source, the thermal energy cost is lower than when using an electric heat source, but the product to be fired is subject to interference from the combustion operation of the combustion heat source, which tends to cause characteristic fluctuations. This problem is particularly likely to occur when a combustion heat source is used as a heat source. For example, when the temperature inside the furnace chamber is raised, the oxygen consumption of the combustion heat source increases, and when the temperature is lowered, the oxygen consumption decreases. . As mentioned above, ceramics contain an organic binder, and the organic binder is burned in a firing furnace. However, since the oxygen consumption in the furnace chamber varies depending on the temperature rise or fall of the combustion heat source, the combustion of the organic binder is also affected by the oxygen consumption of the combustion heat source, which has negative effects such as reduction of the ceramic product.

In addition, in the case of a direct heating method using a combustion heat source, it is possible to avoid the influence of combustion gas on the fired product, but uneven removal of the binder occurs, which tends to cause quality defects such as cracks in the product.

In order to avoid this problem, conventionally, an electric heat source has been used in the preheating zone instead of a combustion heat source. For this reason, an increase in cost was unavoidable.

Moreover, the combustion chamber of the combustion heat source and the firing chamber are separated from each other by a partition wall, making it possible to control the atmosphere inside the firing chamber, thereby preventing product interference due to the combustion operation of the combustion heat source.
For example, a fired product of constant quality can be obtained by blocking the effects of oxygen concentration fluctuations and exhaust gas.
