Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the formation of a drain hole so simply and accurately by forming a recess in a specified area of a plate by means of press working, and forming the drain hole after piercing through a bottom wall of this recess, while forming a side wall of the recess into a drain pipe fitting flange. 図に示すように、水抜穴2の周辺部にバーリング加工を
施すことにより、水抜穴2の周縁部を下方に押し広げる
ように曲成させてドレーンパイプ嵌合用フランジ3を形
成する。こうして形成されたドレーンパイプ嵌合用フラ
ンジ3の外周には、第9図に示すようにドレーンパイプ
4の上端部を嵌合させて、フロアパネル1に溶着スる。

れるという問題があった。また、フランジ3の先端が水
抜穴2の深さ方向に沿って直線状に形成されるので、ド
レーンパイプ4をフランジ3に差し込みにくいという問
題があった。
