Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance rigidity of a sealed case and reduce vibration and noise by interposing a spacer between the sealed case and the cut portion of a stator core in an electric motor portion stored in the case, the spacer abutting against both the case and the cut portion. CONSTITUTION:A rotary compressor 1 has an electric motor portion 3 stored in the upper portion of a sealed case 2, and a rotary compressor portion 4 in the lower portion. The electric motor portion 3 comprises a stator core 6 around which a coil 5 is wound, and a rotor 8 fitted over a rotary shaft 7 and rotating within the stator core 6. A space portion is formed between the sealed case 2 and the cut portion 17 of the stator core 6. A spacer 18 is interposed in the space portion in such a manner that the spacer 18 abuts against both the sealed case 2 and the cut portion 17. Rigidity of the sealed case 2 corresponding to the space portion is thus enhanced and vibration or noise of the stator core 6 is reduced.

(b) Conventional technology Conventionally, this type of rotary compressor
As disclosed in the publication, an electric motor part and a rotary compressor part are housed in a cylindrical sealed case, and
The stator core of the electric motor section is tightly attached to the sealed case by shrink fitting or shrink fitting, and a cut portion is formed on the outer periphery of the core. Normally, the planar shape of the stator core is not completely circular due to material removal during punching of the electromagnetic steel sheet, but a straight part is provided in a part, and a cut part is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the stator core6.
For the second reason, when the stator core is press-fitted into the sealed case, a space is created in a part where the stator core and the sealed case do not come into contact with force. This space is used as a path for causing oil in the discharged gas separated in the space above the motor section to fall into an oil reservoir below, or for discharging the discharged gas.

(c) Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, according to the above configuration, a space is formed between the sealed case and the stator core by the notch of the stator core, so the rigidity of the sealed case in this space is inevitably reduced. There was a problem in that the compressor became weak and resonated with the operating vibrations of the compressor, producing noise.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and aims to increase the rigidity of the sealed case in the space between the sealed case and the stator core while maintaining the function of the space between the sealed case and the stator core as an oil passage. The purpose is to reduce noise.

(E) With the above-described configuration, the rotary compressor of the present invention not only increases the rigidity of the sealed case corresponding to the space by the spacer, but also suppresses vibrations of the stator core itself. The noise emitted from the sealed case can be reduced. In addition, since the spacer only needs to be formed in a part of the sealed case facing the cant part instead of the entire area, the cross-sectional area of the space can be secured, and the space can be used as a passage for oil or refrigerant as before. It can be made to work. As a result, even if straight sections are formed in the electromagnetic steel sheets constituting the stator core to promote material reduction, there is no need to consider the problem of noise emitted from the space so much, and the degree of freedom in compressor design can be improved.

In the rotary pressure wIi machine configured as shown in 2, a spacer 18 that contacts both the sealed case 2 and the stator core 6 is interposed in the space 16 between the cup portion 17 of the stator core 6 and the sealed case 2. Therefore, the spacer 18 can not only reduce the rigidity of the sealed case 2 corresponding to the space 16 but also suppress the vibration of the stator core 6 itself. It can reduce the noise emitted from. In addition, since the desired vibration damping effect can be obtained by making the spacer 18 contact only a portion of the sealed case 2 facing the cut portion 17 instead of the entire area, a sufficient cross-sectional area of the space portion 16 should be ensured. This allows the space 16 to function as a passage for oil and refrigerant as before. As a result, even if it is possible to reduce the amount of material by cutting straight parts and forming force/strain parts in the core when punching the electromagnetic steel sheet that constitutes the stator core 6, it is necessary to consider the problem of noise emitted from the space 16 as much as possible. Therefore, the degree of freedom in designing the compressor including the electric motor section 3 can be improved. Furthermore, since the spacer 18 is a separate part, by preparing spacers with different thicknesses (distance between the sealed case and the cut part), it is possible to use compressors with different capacities with different sizes of the sealed case 2 and stator core 6. can be easily dealt with.

(G) Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, the space between the sealed case and the stator core functions as an oil passage, and the cut portion of the stator core maintains the material removal effect. At the same time, it is possible to increase the rigidity of the sealed case in such a space and to suppress vibrations of the stator core itself.
Compressor noise can be reduced. Furthermore, since it is no longer necessary to consider the noise emitted from the space so much f'', the degree of freedom in designing the rE including the electric motor and the compressor can be improved.
